"We paid close to $20,000 to BQ Basements to completely waterproof our basement. We still get water and they told us we need another sump pump installed at over $2,000. They guaranteed we would not get water after installation. Be aware they do not stand behind their work or honor warranties."

"I just spent thousands of dollars to redo a patio that was done by this company. For starters the entire patio was lean, but then the pavers started to sink due to the fact their was not filter place at the edges. The stones that were put on our steps are lean and the step itself is lean. We didn't realize the magnitude of this until a professional company redid the lines and patio, but there isn't anything we can do for our unaligned steps unless we dish out more money to fix thoses. I have been searching for this company's name due to the fact I threw everything out but I found the original emails."

"NTL was very professional and courteous. The owner and workers are hard-working and thorough in their process. I am very satisfied with the work they completed. Prior to hiring them, I spoke with other companies and NTL was the only one who could do the job at a very reasonable cost. Overall, I highly recommend them for their masonry services."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Ridgewood, NJ

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
