"Steve was very knowledgeable when he came to give me an estimate.  He explained the difference between brands and features.  He also explained the warranties and how they work.  He was very flexible when scheduling an installation date so I didn't have to take an extra day off work. He did not try to sell me a product I didn't want.  All the other companies only wanted to sell me the top of the line models and I knew I didn't need that for a small house. Steve gave me straight answers. <br />  I called on the morning of installation to confirm.  The installers showed up with all the pieces and parts and two trucks.  Removing the old furnace had to be done in pieces but they got it out.  Even though it took longer than expected, they stayed till the work was done and tested.  The installers were even knowledgeable about the manufacturer of my old furnace so I got a little history lesson too!  They cleaned up after themselves and removed all trash.  They even reassured me that they would register the furnace with the manufacturer.  I am a very happy (and warm) camper. <br />"

"1. The first tech diagnosed both pool pumps failed because our neighborhood flooded during Hurricane Harvey. Landmark contract does not cover flood. I appealed the denial. However the flood water was actually below the pump bearings. Needed a second opinion resulting in replacement of both pumps. The second technician did an excellent job of installing the pumps and checking my entire system. 2. The A/C service company replaced the fan motor on our 5 ton condenser. During their visit, they found leaks in the air plenum and retaped those. They unplugged the primary drain lines in two of our A/C units, both at the plenum outlet, and down the drain line to the house plumbing system. The tech did an excellent job and was good about asking all my questions. 3 weeks later the drain lines are blocked again. I fear the source of the problem has not been eliminated by simply cleaning the drain lines. Unfortunately in shaking the 1/2" PVC drain line, it separated 10 ft away at an elbow. Water soaked the insulation, spilled onto the second floor ceiling below, and down to the first floor ceiling before we noticed it. We filed a complaint and are waiting. The contractor said they did not have Liability Insurance yet Landmark requires they do. The resolution is still being worked at this time. Landmark gets high marks for holding our hand thru the entire process."

"Denny and Coleman were excellent throughout the process.  The bid was very competitive with the others.  They were excellent at communicating with us, very clean, and very professional.  This was our first contact with them and now consider them our "goto" guys for HVAC or electrical work.  In fact, they will be coming out in six weeks to do some electrical during our kitchen remodel. <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Rigby, ID

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
