When nobody and I mean nobody would install my drip edge extenders and my Rainhandler system they came with a smile. They also corrected other issues with my roof and replaced the cedar siding and stained it. I have no more leaks in my foyer! Job well done and I would hire this crew to do all repairs in the future. "The job went great.  It was completed quickly, on time and at less than budget.  My front porch on the "old grey lady greystone" now looks great - the old girl has had a face lift.  Most importantly, I have new gutters that actually function around the porch.

"Trying to execute a major outdoor renovation project during a time of global supply chain disruptions poses many challenges. Happy to report that Mal and PHI navigated that rocky path very well. Mal kept us informed of the many changes coming from the supplier as far as colors and delivery. It was a long process...8 months between signing the contract and having the work completed. In the end we are very happy with the product and the quality of the work. A major windstorm hit the area the day after the work was completed and put the installation to the test. Everything held up perfectly...no loose bits flapping on the house or flying around the yard. In researching this project ahead of time, we had spoken with many friends who've had their siding replaced and none of them were especially happy with their contractor. We had the best experience with Mal and PHI. Highly recommended."

"I have used Murphy's three separate times to replace doors and windows in my home, and I plan to use Murphy's and only Murphy's in the future. "We first hired Chris of CQ Painting after reading good reviews on Angie's List in 2012. We hired Chris for exterior painting which included replacing and painting wooden trim around the windows and doors. Due to the good work initially, I have hired Chris multiple times since, including the skim-coating/painting of two rooms (once to cover up splatter paint decorating and the other to fix another company’s wall paper removal gone bad in our powder room). Most recently, we hired Chris for drywall repair/painting associated with a kitchen/family room refresh; during this project, I learned learned Chris’ company was expanding into other areas and I subsequently hired him for an interior door project and to install several lighting fixtures in our dining room and foyer. Everything turned out beautifully. In all the jobs for which he was hired, Chris and his crew arrived on time, have always been respectful, pay attention to detail, and are great at cleaning up afterward. Due to the above, Chris has become our “go to” guy whenever we have a painting-related project! I would definitely recommend Chris and CQ painting!"

"They did an excellent job!   We had hired a paint company 5 years ago (one of the college kid paint services) and found some short comings in their work over the past 5 years  (peeling paint on ill prepared surfaces, paint drippings on brick and deck, painted over rotten areas on 2nd story).    Midwest painting came in and completely repaired and replaced all rotten areas (even under gutters), applied two coats of high quality paint (no upcharge or mark up on materials) and caulked areas in need.   Once completed, they power washed and cleaned our deck (large deck), stained.......and placed all the furniture back once dry (after they had been paid).   Their cost was less than what we paid the college kids by a $1,000 +, 5 years ago......and it included our deck work which the college kids did not do.
I am fussy on detail, and Midwest Painting did an outstanding job!   The owner (Steve) has a great crew of people working for him and they truly understand quality detail work.   I will hire them again.

The crew was on time every day, did excellent work, and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. The work was completed on budget and ahead of schedule. Would gladly use this firm again."
