"The bottom line here is the end product was good -- but man, it was tough getting there.
We started with a lot of miscommunication between the office with which I made the original appointment and myself.  I work odd hours and after we went through a lengthy phone conversation to finally get a date (which was better than a month later), a week prior to my appointment, I was called and asked to move my appointment due to scheduling conflicts.  When we could not come to an agreement on a new date, we left it there, with the understanding that we would try to reschedule again soon.  The night before my original scheduled date, I get a phone call from the person who was supposed to come out and do the estimation and he says he'll be out in the morning.  Good thing I hadn't made any other plans.
So this guy comes out.  Nice as can be.  Talkative.  Gives me the estimation on how much the addition square footage will cost me.  It's always twice as much as you think it's gonna be, but I agreed to the price.  The problem is, when the crew came out to do the job (who ended up being the owner or manager of the company), he informed me that the guy who gave the estimation was filling in and really didn't have a grasp on the current state regulations concerning insulation.  So, he didn't give the proper quote concerning the depth of the insulation I really needed -- as well as he left out the price of the baffles that are required.  On BOTH of these items, the owner/manager was extremely reasonable.  He threw in the price of the baffles and gave me a deep discount on the price of the extra insulation I ended up needing.
While he did work with me on the price, the one downside was he overbooked on the original date we scheduled for the service and 1.25 hours after he was supposed to be at my house, he called to reschedule.  Not a huge deal, but as a suggestion, I would try to get an early appointment when scheduling with them.
I would not hold any of this stuff against these guys.  They did do good work and I think I would recommend their services."

"They did a great job on all accounts. They helped me pick the construction of mysunroom without blowing my budget. And it looks wonderful! Great job on matching and laying the hardwood. They spent a lot of time arranging my cable outlets just like I wanted them. They were understanding when I wanted to make some small changes along the way. They have come back to take care of other jobs I wanted done as well. I will continue to use them for other upgrades/repairs in my home."

FAQs for gutter covers and accessories installation and replacement projects in Ripley, TN

Gutter guards are essential because they protect your home from costly water damage and structural issues. They offer significant annual savings—ranging from $120 to $500—by reducing the frequency of cleanings, especially in regions with many tall trees. Professionally installed gutter guards increase your home’s value and ensure reliable protection against debris-induced damage.

Gutter guards have numerous advantages. They protect your gutters by blocking twigs, branches, leaves, pine cones, and other debris, ensuring that water flows freely and preventing clogs. This protection minimizes expensive damages and substantially reduces cleaning frequency. In addition, gutter guards secure your home’s value by maintaining the integrity of your gutter system and reducing maintenance time.

Gutter guards have the disadvantage of not eliminating the need for regular maintenance. Even with them installed, you must clean your gutters at least once every two years to ensure proper water flow. Debris can accumulate on top of the guards, potentially blocking drainage. Additionally, extreme weather conditions can dislodge some designs, and certain types may require professional servicing to maintain their effectiveness.

If you decide to forgo gutter guards, the optimal solution is to clean your gutters promptly when debris accumulates. This proactive maintenance prevents blockages and potential water damage. In addition, you can install gutter screens made from wire mesh, nylon, or foam that are less expensive while reducing clogging. These options lower your maintenance costs and preserve the functionality of your gutters over time.
