"I really could not have asked for better administrative and management service. The actual work and the carpenter himself was equally as great. The carpenter was creative in delivering a great product. I would like to assume that some carpenter would have charged a bit less, but it would not have been worth the savings to either get inferior service, a headache, or a questionable product."

"They did a great job snd repaired my roof within a few hours."

"I highly recommend SPU. We used them for roofing. The owner is great to work with, he always answered my phone call when I called and showed up when he said he would show up. He came out to do a quote on Wednesday, materials were delivered that Friday and the roof was done by that Sunday afternoon. The crew was very respectable, they did a great job cleaning up after the job, there was not a piece of garbage or a nail to be found anywhere."

"**Roofing and Chimney Work Review for Nombach** I recently hired Nombach Roofing for some extensive brickwork and chimney repairs, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. From start to finish, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. The crew took the time to explain what needed to be done and ensured that everything was handled with precision. The brickwork around my home was starting to show its age, with several areas needing repointing. Nombach’s masons did an outstanding job restoring the brick to its original condition. The attention to detail was impressive, and the end result looks seamless, as if the repairs were never even needed. The chimney, which had become a safety concern due to crumbling mortar, was also repaired. The Nombach team rebuilt the damaged sections and reinforced the structure, giving me peace of mind that my home is now secure. Throughout the entire project, communication with Ed was excellent, and the crew was respectful of my property, cleaning up thoroughly once the job was done. I highly recommend Nombach for anyone in need of brickwork or chimney repairs. Their quality workmanship and customer service are truly top-notch. -MRG"

"This was an emergency job on a weekend. The workers arrived on schedule and did a great job. The crew chief communicated well before and after the job. David also followed up and explained what they did and pointed out issues with our roof that need attention. The workers even came back to do some clean up of ice left on our gangway. A very professional organization."

"It was perfect. Max came out to give us an estimate and showed us how the infrared camera was able to identify water sources. They came promptly to do the work. Things went quickly and took only two hours. They answered all my questions and showed me how everything worked. They also put cement on the roof in all locations they could find where water might come in. We have had no problems since. Both the price and service were exactly what we wanted.

"Tim replaced our fascia a couple of years ago, so I asked for another quote for full roof replacement and installing a bath vent in the roof. The quote was one of the lowest using a good quality shingle. I must of asked at the right time because we were able to schedule the roof replacment within the week. Tim was very patient as we went back and forth with shingle colors. The work went very smooth. Because of the pitch of the roof, it took a day longer than expected. The roof looks excellent. His team cleaned ok, there were some big pieces, but Tim helped clean the metal nails and staples on the final inspection. It was a very good experience."

"Overall all the work that Roof to Deck performed was done well and on time. I will use them again.

"This job went very well from initial estimate and assessment to the final inspection after work was complete. I am a novice home owner and flat roofs were new for me. There was a recurring leak that three times penetrated the interior of my home causing dry wall damage on multiple levels and weakening of hard wood flooring. After repeated small repairs by another large Chicago roofing company, the leak persisted so I finally decided to bid out a more comprehensive repair. Matthews had a very good process coordinated by their lead (sales?) manager Eric Napier who proposed options and pricing, then oversaw the work and conducted the final inspection. Eric is knowledgeable, likeable and Matthews "secret weapon." He is part roofing expert and part relationship manager. He was the only professional who took the time to really investigate the possible sources of the leak and offer different options. He also recommended another contractor for siding and parapet improvements who was equally likeable, trustworthy and actually reduced his part of the estimate with some cost saving ideas. Other service providers' recommendations ranged from further small repairs to an entire roof replacement (three times the cost of Matthews' proposal). Ultimately I agreed to an entire recoating (?) of the roof, plus some critical repairs to the scupper box drainage that had gaps to the roof surface and likely one source of the leaking. I highly recommend Matthews for their quality of work, knowledge and balanced proposal, as well as the commitment of a management resource like Eric Napier to coordinate the job professionally from start to finish."
