"J. Blanton did an excellent job installing two brand new water heaters in my two flat.  After searching, talking to friends and family, and getting several estimates I decided on J. Blanton.   From the onset, they were courteous and patient with me.  It took some time for me to respond to the initial estimate and another month to schedule the installation but J. Blanton was patient with me  (my water heaters were still functioning but barely hanging on).  I even had to reschedule installation twice yet they were pleasant each time and patient with me.  
On the day of installation, they arrived promptly as promised and in fact the office called letting me know their plumbers/truck had left their yard.   This was very comforting, since I tend to become anxious, in general, when waiting for appointments and service calls. The installation went as outlined and by 2:00 pm that afternoon I had my water heaters installed.  Soon after I had hot water.  I was so happy!
As they began to clean up, the mature plumber of the two,  took time to review the features of the units.  He showed me the warranty and pointed out other functions.  I was very impressed!

"Scottish Plumber staff were very efficient, professional and fully dedicated to our project. We had a sewer backup in the lower level of our house in early December. They were able to determine where the clog was in the sewer line, and determined that tree roots had infested the line so much that the piping had collapsed, necessitating nearly a complete replacement of the line from the house through the back yard to the main hookup with the city's line. They began the digging process shortly after New Year's. Part of the digging included in our indoor crawl space, meaning they had to come in and out of the house often. All the employees of Scottish and their contractors were very professional and concerned with cleaning the areas following their work. We also had indoor plumbing work done (replacement of laundry tub, removal of old water softener, replacement of old shut off valves and installing a new water heater). Again, all work was very professional and thorough. A couple of times follow-up visits needed to be done because of city code issues and Joe, with Scottish Plumber, came out immediately to complete the work once it was brought to their attention. Tommy supervised and coordinated the overall project and answered all questions that came up during the project to make sure everything was done correctly. Darlene called us often to schedule the ongoing work and advise of exactly the work that would be done on a particular day and how long the work would take. She also handled all the paperwork to ensure city codes were satisfied and completed the complicated paperwork to allow us to receive a rebate from the city for the check valve installation ($3,000 off the total cost of the project, which we received from the city only 3-4 weeks after we submitted it). The entire project was completed in late Feb."
