During a trip to northern Maine, while spending a great deal of time on Flagstaff Lake, we found ourselves inspired by the simple beauty of the downed timber, along the edges of the lake. Thoughts raced, thinking of all of the astonishing projects that lay on the banks of the frozen lake, and how we could turn these pieces of long forgotten wood, into furniture that people would be able to enjoy in their homes. Shortly after our visit North, we began to fully realize the early traditions of the log-to-home process. Taking these inspirations to heart, we created Windfall Cove.
