"Tom built a roughly 500 sqft deck for us using Azek. About half of the deck is rectangle screened porch. The other half is slightly irregular deck. They are pretty high off the ground as shown in the picture and the stairs also curve back to the side of the house to save space. Tom and team did a great job. I get a lot of compliments from friends and neighbors I waited almost two year to write the review to make sure the build quality stands up to time and it did!"

"A really great company to work with that also delivers an excellent product and craftsmanship. Our project was over $31,000 so we were quite conerned about getting the job done correctly. Jim the owner was very professional and kept us updated on the project at all times. Victor and Victor's crew were extremely hardworking and so pleasant to work with. We had a two story deck replaced along with replacing and moving the deck stairs. Jim's company was the only one that could plan out the move the deck stairs without compromising the rest of the deck and patio below. Also installed privacy fence, replaced front porch stairs and added some small hardscape. This is my first review on Angie's List as I felt it so important to give praise where it is rightfully due."

"We needed a new walkway (or patio) to connect our front porch to the garage (to replace the original quartz stone, board, & flagstone design), a new front porch (since the boards were rotting), and we needed the EverGrain Composite Decking of our back deck power-washed and stained. Deckmaster was the only contractor who could do all three jobs, and the finished product on all three was great, and they gave us a great price. They redid the stairs on the back deck and gave us an extra step on the front porch, both of which we really like. Deckmaster was patient while we got our homeowner's association to approve the design, and they were very responsive and reasonable every step of the way. I'd definitely hire them again and highly recommend."

"Fantastic! I called and got an appointment immediately for some one to come out and give and estimate. I agreed to the price and put down 1/3. The first workman showed up the next day to do the power washing between the times given. I had 1 day for the deck to dry and the next day 3 men arrived promptly to do the rest of the work which involved hammering down loose nails, sanding the places that needed it, painting the deck with two coats of special paint, and painting the rails and steps with a different type of paint. The owner stayed in touch by phone during the whole process and came by to make sure I was happy with the results."

"This company actually listened to what I wanted. We had a 40 year-old upper and lower outside deck that structurally was sound. If I were to replace these decks as suggested by several companies, my guess is it would have cost $35,000. This company assessed my decks from a structural standpoint and determined that they could rehab the deck with long lasting materials and my deck would be something I would be proud of. I am and they did the work in a week and a half at about one third of the cost of building a new deck. I highly recommend them."

"I obtained three estimates for a new deck, including removal of our old one (it wasn't build to code). Fence and Deck Connection was clearly the most experienced and well-organized operation, with many material choices, professional brochures, and still a competitive bid. Andrew was knowledgeable about the design of our deck and gave several insights which in the end turned out to be valuable in helping us make the best design decisions. The crew was professional and the detail in craftsmanship was excellent. Everything was very precisely measured and cut, and the seams with existing structure of the house are very tight. They were prompt to come back to fix a small detail that I found was not done properly and made it right. Also, the old deck was open underneath, whereas the new one has skirting around the base so that it made an enclosed space under the deck. There were some pavers under there that had been removed in the process of putting in the new footers, and even though it wasn't visible from the outside, they also replaced those pavers that had been removed so that's its a smooth surface for my recycling and trash cans under there. Overall, am very pleased with how things turned out, and would not hesitate to choose them again for any other projects. They really seek to make their customers 100% satisfied. Highly recommended."

"I contacted 5 other companies to replace a 27 year old wooden deck and railings. ONLY one of them showed up to provide an estimate. They were $7K MORE than FF&D for same materials. It was a replacement, not a new build. FF&D Kelsey very nicely followed up via Angies List. I ignored them for almost 3 weeks but Kelsey, kindly, without spamming me, suggested a free estimate at my convenience. I sent a terse reply thinking it would fall thru, but it didn't. Jim was beyond helpful, keeping in touch thru the HOA approval process. Within weeks they had a date for replacement and removal of old decking material. Within 2 days the work was completed without issue and we have a beautiful composite deck with vinyl railings. They did exactly what they said they would do and we're very pleased with the result."
