Also, when the work was completed, Mike tested the faucet in the new sink and discovered a leak. This was at the end of a 10-hour day. I appreciated the fat that he stayed and made sure the work and Ray did was to our satisfaction. They also custom-fit the vanity for us, which required adding pieces to the sides and the bottom. "We love our new kitchen! American Kitchen Concepts was highly recommended by family for their good service. Dan took a lot of the anxiety and confusion out of the process. We had driven ourselves crazy touring individual retailers for flooring, cabinetry, countertops and so forth. So many options, so many decisions and so much coordination required! Dan’s showroom has a nice selection of all those products. After a couple of visits and with his advice and help, we were able to put together materials and a design that we loved at a competitive price we could afford (using discounts). He suggested improvements we now love (e.g., the undercabinet lighting and touch-on faucet). Some of our want-to-haves proved impractical. The spice rack and “magic corner” shelves could not fit in the spaces we allotted for them. Dan swapped them out for other good options and refunded the extra cost. They were also able to repair problems discovered during demo, for a fee. The lead team member, Cameron, has a wealth of skills and knowledge. He made sure everything was done properly and to our satisfaction. Dan is the owner, designer, liaison to suppliers and project manager. He is the single point of contact and responsibility, making things much less stressful. Construction was done in under 4 weeks (record time according to some friends). Months later they will still swing by if we need advice or adjustments. Again, we love our new kitchen!"

"Our bathroom was ugly 'smoker's teeth' yellow with black trim, now everything is a dazzling white and matches the tub. I don't know how they got the tub looking so nice. It looks like a brand new bathroom for 1/2 what it would have cost to do a complete renovation; it also (if you add actual dates worked on site) took less time than a complete reno.
Overall a very good experience. We did have some minor (reasonable) small snafus. We had scheduling issues and had to reschedule the work a few times, and they had to reschedule 1-2 days accordingly. The threshhold was also set a little high and there were some minor tile touch ups that needed to be done which were a pain to get scheduled. Also had a small mix up where I didn't get the bill at first due to some questions and their online bill system. It's a family owned business and the owner was very courteous about working with us and resolving the paperwork snafu.
Everyone was extremely courteous and clean. We're thinking of doing this in our other bathroom.
Only other comments is the process does have a faint 'nail polish' smell, so had to open all the windows. It didn't bother my asthma, but I didn't like the smell and got a mild headache one time. And we nearly had a disaster when the cat got near the drying glaze.
