"After trying several home remedies towards the end of a week we decided to secure professional help on a Saturday. Charlie returned our call within minutes and arranged to come towards the end of the day on Saturday. He explained what he was doing, was efficient, discovered and replaced an unrelated rusted pipe and cleaned up the inevitable unrestrained water from nearby surfaces."

"It went great! Patrick came out on a Saturday to see what was causing my line to back up. He used his camera to find mud in a section of my pipe indicating some type of crack or break. Gave me my options for fixing it. He started his repair two days later on Monday and finished up today, Wednesday. They dug roughly, a 4ft by 3ft hole to get down to the pipe and ended up digging two more feet towards the basement to ensure that they connected the new pipe to a solid piece of the existing pipe. Very competitive pricing, I called two other plumbers who were both higher priced by at least 2K and didn't offer as good of a warranty on their work. Very knowledgeable, able to help me understand how my whole sewer system works. Very professional, got the permit with the city, busted the work out, got the job inspected by the city and Closed up the hole. "Sam arrived on time and he was very professional. He answered all my questions and also made good recommendations. After finishing the tune up, I shared with him that I can smell gas in the laundry room or outside the house from time to time for the last year. He immediately checked the connections of the pipe for the dryer and found one wasn’t sealed and there was a gas leak. The previous owner had this house for 5 years and probably they experienced the same issue. Sam fixed the issue . I usually don't look forward to giving reviews because if I can't give a stellar review I'd rather not give any review -- just my nature. But with the Plumbing Doctor I have never had a better customer service experience than I had with John and his staff.

I had a pretty bad leaky outdoor faucet and when I saw the Big Deal for an outdoor faucet replacement I did an impulse buy hoping that's what I needed. John got back to me within the 2 days the deal said he would and we made an appointment within the next few days.

His serviceperson arrived on time and went to work. That's when we had a problem. When he was trying to change the assembly, it broke off inside of the wall between the inside and outside walls due to the way it was originally installed. He said he would have to open up my inside walls to get to it, which to me was not so much the problem as it was to getting to the wall as I have a one piece desk-hutch unit that hugs that corner of the wall and basically is non-moveable. Lucian (the plumber) had John call me and said even though opening up walls is not part of the basic service, they would cover it because the pipe broke while the technician was working on it. Whew! I was not ready for major plumbing expenses for a leaky faucet.

Lucian had to take apart some panels under my desk and make 2 holes in the wall before he able to fix and replace the broken section of pipe. When he was finished he said I would have to get someone else to fix the holes as he didn't know how to do that. I was a little disappointed but more concerned that mice or bugs would come in from the outside. About an hour later John called to ask if I was happy with the work done and I told him I still had holes in my wall, he said he wanted me to be "100% satisfied" and said he would send someone over to get them patched. Since that was a Friday, I received a call on Monday from a different gentleman who made an appointment for the next day to finish the job. He brought pieces of drywall and spackle and finished the job. He offered to come back when the plaster dried to sand it down but I told him not to bother that I would worry about it when I repainted the room since the patching was hidden behind the desk panel. He put everything back, cleaned up and wanted to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I cannot believe it. These guys were really concerned about getting the job done, on time and correctly. I would trust them with any plumbing job in the future. And, by the way, the faucet works great and doesn't leak!

"Matt and I discussed the potential work over the phone, and he was able to give me an accurate estimate of cost, so I gave him the go-ahead to do the work.  He arrived on time with an assistant and got started right away.  In all, the work to strip and finish the tub took about 4 hours, as Matt told me to expect.  I believe drying time was 24 hours.
The results are terrific.  The tub looks good as new - shiny and bright  As an added bonus, the bottom of the tub is textured, meaning I no longer have to mess with a plastic bathmat. 
The tub is original to the home and, over time, the stopper in the drain disappeared.  I bought the home several years ago and have had to use a rubber stopper in order to fill the tub.  You know the know kind...a white rubber stopper complete with a chain.  Matt turned me onto a company who sell a cool fix for that problem.  I ordered a new drain, in the finish of my choice, that glued right on top of the existing drain (with a built in adhesive) including an integrated pop-up stopper and a strainer.  I bought a 2 piece set that included an overflow to match the drain and the total cost was around $50.  Thanks for that tip Matt!

"I came home from vacation to a burst water pipe. I went directly to Home Advisor to locate the best plumbing service for the repair. Called Zuniga s Plumbing, Inc. Spoke with owner, Walter. Explained situation. Within minutes he sent John. John was very thorough in assessing the situation and explaining what needed to be done. John also explained why it happened and provided info. to prevent from happening in the future. I, like other consumers, depend on businesses that are fair, honest, dependable, have a great work ethic, on time, and are above all professional in dealing with their customers. I definitely recommend Zuniga s Plumbing, Inc. and intend on using their services again and would definitely ask for John."

"Joe impressed me from the start by returning my call from his vacation to set up time to come give estimate when he returned. He was not only on time, but early on the day of estimate. The estimate was a range of cost based on the fact we didn't know what damage we would find in terms of whether the mold spread behind tub surround. Thankfully when the wall was open we could see it hadn't spread so it was at the low end of the estimate even with us adding an extra job on there that I forgot to inquire about. The work was done in two stages. Joe and his plumber came out the first day to do all plumbing related work. They switched out all the bathroom trim from builders grade that came with house to a nice satin nickle that we provided. It looks great. The shut off valves under sink were locked up from age/corrosion so they needed replaced so the sink was a little more involved than initially thought. The reverse osmosis we provided to replace our old one was quite different and the fittings and lines were different so it was a little tricky but they got it up and running for a fraction of previous quotes we had gotten from other plumbers. The drywall repair was done by his drywall guy the next day. Did a good job repairing the bathroom in a tricky spot that left little room for working. The drywall repair plan for my son's room was to cut out the wall my husband destroyed trying to hang a floating desk, put a cross support in and then put up the new drywall. Once the wall was open and we could see what was behind it, it proved to be more labor intensive to put in the cross support because of the odd things running through the wall and made the desk trickier to hang. But it's up and secure which puts us mikes ahead of where we were. My only real complaint was having to scrub some drywall mud out of the carpet that spattered outside of where the dropcloth was but it's not a big deal. All in all I'm happy and will gladly hire Carlson Contracting again and have already inquired on a quote for a different job. The Angie's list coupon was a bonus and helped us save money."
