"We engaged Tom Burrell of TD Burrel D&S for a deck renovation project that involved updating an aging wooden deck with TimberTech composite decking. From the outset, Tom demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship, creative spirit, and a deep understanding of the materials. We selected Tom due to his expertise and experience with TimberTech, his competitive pricing, and his flexibility with the project scope. We received quotes from three other deck companies, all of which were more expensive and less accommodating. Tom was thorough, detailed, flexible, patient, and kind. We recommend Tom and his work, however, a few considerations to keep in mind: 1. Our project was planned for 2023 but was ultimately delayed into 2024 due to unforeseen financial circumstances and impacts from other projects. Though unplanned and unfortunate, Tom maintained consistent communication with us throughout this period. 2. Tom operates mostly as a one-man team. While this is reflected in his lower overhead costs, it also means that the project pace will likely be slower compared to companies with larger teams. Our project was initially scheduled for a few weeks but ultimately took several months to complete due to necessary structural corrections, additions to the work order, intermittent issues with equipment and weather. 3. We recommend proactively asking about potential incremental costs for any changes in scope and stipulating that any updates be discussed and agreed upon in writing before implementation. For our specific project, corrections were necessary to the existing deck structure and additional items were discussed and added to the work. This resulted in the final project cost exceeding our initial budget expectation. While these changes were required and requested, discussions regarding the additional costs occurred late in the project. Keeping all parties aligned on scope and cost will help avoid any surprises and make finalizing the project easier. I called Ferrari Furniture Doctor, talked to Phil Ferrari, explained the issue, and scheduled an onsite visit to look into the issue. He came on time, looked up the issue, and gave a reasonable quote for repair. We accepted the quote and scheduled the repair. He came on the scheduled date with all the materials and tools. He repaired the sofa in a couple of hours and did it very professionally. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and nice to the customer. I recommended him for any sofa repair."

"How often can you write a review and say you are 100% happy and would not change a single thing? This is that review for Nate Hudon and Deck Company. Pictures are attached of our new Trex Spiced Rum deck with composite posts, signature railings, wedge and riser LED lighting. Nate impressed us from our first meeting. He is honest, knowledgeable and experienced. His communication was excellent. He listened to us and designed the deck we envisioned, down to the details of lighting placement and support post locations. Shawn and his construction crew were hard-working, talented, courteous, and friendly. Despite adverse weather conditions, they arrived everyday at 7am, worked all day and completed the project on time. The first day, alone, they completed the demo of the old deck, dug holes for the new support posts, had the village out to inspect, and poured concrete for the new supports! Amazing work ethic. We showed Shawn a picture of a support post design we liked and he made it happen! They repaired our brick patios around the new support posts and relocated a huge limestone stepping stone. The crew put down plywood to protect our lawn and boards to protect the driveway from the dumpster. The dumpster arrived the day they started and was removed the day they finished! The clean-up left our property spotless. They even power-washed the driveway. The village inspector had nothing but praise for Nate, Shawn, and Deck Company. Nate promised we would be happy and he was true to his word. Great people! Great company!"

Period furniture is our specialty, but not our limitation. Removers and strippers can damage the luster and character of the wood. At Montalbano these are never used. Instead we use a specially formulated thinner to completely dissolve the old finish as if it never existed. The item is then taken apart as necessary, re-glued, repaired, completely hand sanded and prepared for its new twelve step finish which is second to none. We are specialists in water, fire and insurance work. We offer free factory estimates and home estimates are available. Pickup and delivery is available. Our other services offered include; leather replacement and bent glass doors, caning as well as expert reupholstering with our 10,000 piece fabric gallery.
