"No problems with the quality of the work or the time it took, but it was surprisingly expensive. So much so that I almost regretted having the work done. The plumber found the shut-off valves inoperable and began replacing them without telling me about it or the additional cost. I should have looked over his shoulder more often and asked more questions, but I did not. Any repairman beginning additional repairs without asking really rubs me the wrong way and leads to a "B" rating at best and a "No" on hiring again. Learn from my mistake: make certain that you do your research on pricing and agree on a price range and scope of work with Geiler (or anyone, for that matter) before they begin the work."

"Not well. It was a young guy who did not bring the proper tools to complete the job. He said that he had forgot the rotor rooter and would need to go get it. Well, some how that changed to him saying that he tried to unplug it with some other piping tool he had but couldn't clear it and if we still wanted it clear, we would need to call back and set it up with John for an additional fee of over $200. I was not happy about this. Me and my husband decided to call a professional well service company and they told us that our well was fine. It was not going dry and what needed to be done was that the well pump had to be replaced. That company was C&J Well and Drilling from Brownsburg. If you have a well, I would highly recommend them, not John & John. We have been customers of John & John for years. They were always my go to plumbing company and I would typically probably rate them an A-B for regular plumbing service. After this apt. though, I could not ever give them a professional rating like that again. The young man was very friendly, but had to stay on the phone with his boss to figure out what the problem was. I don't think it was all his fault. I think they should have sent someone with more experience in servicing wells. I do think it's his fault for not bringing the rotor rooter though. I don't think it's appropriate to come and complete service without the proper tools. I gave the office a detailed explanation of the problems that I was experiencing and feel that they should have at least came prepared to fix the problem. I think carrying a rotor rooter should be a necessary, basic tool to carry as a plumber. Maybe I'm wrong. Just my thoughts. Unfortunately, I will not be able to use them again. I hope they are able to make some improvements to the company."

"Over all pleased, did arrive on time accessed my complete system (which I had contracted with and paid McCrumbs Mechanical to do and was never done) which I had asked since I had already paid Scotts Mechanical for a completed job and now I am finding missing ducts while replacing my electrical wiring. Please note that I had been complaining for months that the SE corner living rm. vent was not working to Mr. Scott McCrumb. But he avoided coming back out to redress any problems even after I personally went to Mr. McCrumbs hose to ask for a service call on three different occasion. Brant's tech. comfirmed the missing duct run from SE living rm. vent to main supply duct. BUT he also confirmed that there was no zone control installed and the wire rand from the upstairs thermostat was actually ran to the furnace in the basement.... it was just that the basement end of the thermostat wire was never connected to the furnace :O... So i ended up paying $348.03 for work that I had already paid Scott McCrumb of McCrumbs Mechanical to do. I did reschedule another date the next week to get estimated for installation of a zone control and smart thermostat (both items I had already paid Scott McCrumb to do per contract). But they were a no show and did not contact me for a reschedule date. Since Brandt show lack on interest I decided to go with Alternate Heating for the Zone control installation which will run about $3000.00."

"I had several companies large & small provide me quotes  to install a new HVAC system in my home.  I finally decided to have a Gas Furnace and Heat pump installed (Lennox) and Darrell from Alternative heating and Cooling was very interested in what I wanted and worked with me to put a package together. I have large bathtub and needed an upgrade, because I was running out of hot water. Everything has been working good since then. They do good work, they are just a little expensive."

"The servicemen were professional, prompt and courteous. Two parts were missing from the water softner and the tech went and purchased them from a local store in order to complete the installation.  I see that as above and beyond the call of duty.  The cost of the installation was one-half of another companies offer. I also had a second tech do the ac unit and it was under $100. He was very thorough and gave me a worksheet of the condition my ac unit is in.  I will definitely use this company again and I will buy my new unit from them when the time comes."
