"Ryan (the owner) initially responded to my phone call asking for an estimate. There was some confusion about the date he was going to come out. The day that he did arrive, I found him to be very nice. He seemed very knowledgeable and I like how his company assembles their fences. He measured the backyard and said he'd email me a written estimate. That was on May 17th. I waited 1 week and finally called him and left a message. Waited a few more days, called him again and he said that a family emergency had come up but assured me he'd get me an estimate. Waited another week and contacted him. He was on the road, thought he had emailed it to me (no), but would resend it that evening when he returned. I have never gotten it. I'm sorry, because he seems like a nice guy who owns a fencing business that does quality work."

Requested the customer to provide towels or something to cover the bottom of old water heater, mentioning the carpet will be dirty without it. 2. Had difficuties to ignite the starter/new water heater. Broke a gas nozzle part of the ignite by drilling. Even broken, put the part into the water heater. Somehow, the starter worked. 3. Paid $1,000 for installation of water heater. Requested the receipt but they said it will be avaiable after 3 weeks (will be updated). 4. Broken part will be replaced by other service provider,"

"Jay Burke came back to a home he had built for us in 2012 and finished the basement. He does not typically work on partial jobs, but since he built our home previously, he was happy to take it on. He added a 3/4 bath, large bedroom, finished storage area, and large family area. Final product is excellent. He had the framers who originally built the house come back and do all the framing, added HVAC, sheetrock, and everything else to deliver a superb final product. Build time was a couple months and price was less than I anticipated. Trim and all finishes match everything in the rest of the house. Jay Burke was again closely involved with all sub-contractors in the house and did a lot of the work himself. He only builds high quality products and it shows. Now having 3 building experiences with Jay Burke at Heartwood Homes, I cannot imagine how someone could not be very happy to work with him. Jay truly bends over backwards to make sure that things are done to the preferences of his customers and his build quality is excellent. I cannot thank him enough for what he's given our family. Great home to raise kids. Thank again Jay."
