"The job seemed rushed. While he did clean and removed quite a bit of soot, the inspection consisted of taking a cellphone picture from the fireplace. I had read a review that they are supposed to use a piece of equipment like a camera snake to do an actual inspection. We asked if the fireplace was usable and his reply was you can try it and if you smell smoke upstairs you'll know. Overall he performed the cleaning. Although I'm sure it could have been done more thoroughly. We were told that during the service, if they determined there were any leaks or issues, they could be fixed during the visit. It's hard to determine issues if you don't really inspect them. The house was built in 1903 and the chimney definitely needed a thorough inspection."

"It went well living up to the many excellent reviews by previous Angies List reviewers. They remediated the mold by cutting away affected drywall, applying mold killing material to the surrounding walls in the cold air duct. They set up a containment area in the closet adjacent to the cold air duct and used HEPA vacuums to cleanse the containment area and air of mold. Their estimator found moisture in the floor in front of our toilet when he came to do the estimate. A plumber who who found the leak and fixed it without entering the mold affected area found a badly rusted flange under the toilet with rot. When the workman from Mold Solutions came to alleviate the mold problem they cleaned up the area around the sewer pipe and flange and applied anti-mold material. That awaits a plumber to fix the toilet connection. Mold Solutions did the minimum amount of disruption to the cold air vent in eradicating the mold. As a result repairing that duct (which also serves as a resting place for things in the closet), will be much easier and less costly than I had feared. In cleaning up the sewer pipe and flange in the bathroom floor (a bonus not in the estimate) I could see that the repair would be less costly than it originally repaired. Mold Solutions job was done in three hours in the early afternoon of a Tuesday, followed by the HEPA fans operating until the next morning. Mold Solutions did a great job of finishing and cleaning up in one hour on Thursday Morning. I highly recommend them."

"Very professional and clean. As soon as they walked in the door they put on the little clean boot covers so dirt would not get tracked in the house. They asked what the concern was and if there was anything else that I needed while they were there. An inspection was performed and a solution was given to the problem at hand. After the initial inspection of the bathroom they climbed into the attic and inspected for mold. After inspection was done in the attic they inspected the rest of the house for mold as well (which I did not think they would do). -Pros: Very knowledgeable and professional about the concerns that I had. - Friendly to talk to and did not make me feel embarrassed about my concerns of mold. - Wore little boot covers over their feet to keep my floors clean. - Gave me advise for future to save me money. - Cons: Because I did not receive any work from them due to there not being any mold upon inspection, I did not get a chance to see there work if there was mold. - No major complaints, and would recommend to a friend."
