"This was a test to find a plumber to do a new bathroom. I interviewed two plumbers by having them each perform a small plumbing task. This plumber installed a new outside water faucet through an existing opening in the basement wall. He was very punctual, arriving the day following the initial call. He was professional and efficient with his time. He was prepared for any contingency. He improved the site by adding some water cement to close a leakage problem and offered advise on another site that would be addressed by the second (test) plumber. <br /> He looked at the bathroom (to be) and advised that he would follow up with the owner, who was to get back to me. This has not happened, yet. I had had an earlier outside faucet connected (cost $65) at a more complicated site which cost a third of this cost ($i80). That job was 2 years earlier, was with a handyman that I didn't think was capable of putting in a new bathroom. Plus, the handyman gave me a deal because he was not punctual. He did, however, do a lot more work, having to install more lines to make the connection. <br /> Robinson and Son exceeded my expectations of contractors in West Virginia. I am experienced in several states working with contractors. I have found an extreme lack of professionalism in the state of West Virginia when it comes to home building. <br /> <br /> The second plumber was also very professional, making the selection difficult. I received a telephone call that the third plumber was semi-retired and not interested in a full-blown bathroom re-do."
