"I could not have been more pleased with the outcome. My kitchen use to be enclosed, making it, and the surrounding rooms, seem very small. However, once Morpho Carpentry opened it up by essentially taking half of two different walls down, the entire area feels so much more spacious. They also gave me more storage for me by adding lower cabinets and a breakfast bar (so I was able to get rid of my kitchen table) which provided even more space. I am so pleased with the work. "Craig and company were fantastic! We are extremely happy with our bathroom - I can honestly say that I have never seen a more gorgeous bathroom. Craig responded to our Angie's List inquiry immediately, and after we chose his company to do our remodel, work started within days. Craig checked on progress constantly, and was very open to discussion and offered great suggestions as the job progressed. Chris and Ken were our main workers, and they were very punctual (work started at 7am daily and they were in their cars in front of the house by 6:30!). In addition to being punctual, they were perfectionists. We chose a patterned tile for the walls around the tub, and it is lined up perfectly. Soffits were removed, and a half glass wall was installed to open up the bathroom and make it feel larger. We will definitely hire Artistic Construction again. WE have a few things in mind already...!"

"I pulled up Angie's List and selected CSR (Complete Service Restoration). Within 30 minutes after contacting CSR, Ron Minando was at our door. Within another 45 minutes Ron's crew arrived. As Julius Caesar said upon landing in Britain, They came, They saw. They conquered. With CSR, They came. They saw. They conquered a smelly, moldy, and disgustingly wet basement. To ensure that water, dirt, and contaminants, were not tracked into our house, they put down a waterproof cloth matting on the main floor, the laundry room and the garage. Working in a quiet professional manner, the crew drained the basement, extracted water from the carpeting and padding, zipped it into watertight plastic bags and disposed of it in a dumpster. They did the same with the wet drywall and some water damaged contents. They moved so quietly and quickly that my wife and I were unaware they brought in very large air scrubbers and dehumidifiers. After removing all the contaminated debris, they sprayed the floor and walls with a plant-based (no toxic chemicals) anti-bacterial agent. By acting quickly, CSR was able to save my wife's hat room and its 300 plus hats Hooray! It took several days to remove mold and dry the basement, but when they finished we had a clean odor-free basement. The men were prompt, very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable about the dangers of a water/mold damaged basement. If needed, I would definitely hire CSR again."

"It went well. The only thing he wasn't able to assist me with was removing old garage door weather seal and installing the new seal I had bought. He had never done it before and admitted he wasn't too sure about how to deal with the door's structure in accomplishing this job. He suggested I call someone who deals with garage doors more.
I took the advice of other reviews and had a to-do list ready. I listed more than I knew he had time for and prioritized them so that I could use the full 2 hrs productively.

"MHI repainted my house in the fall of 2016. They initially did a sloppy job while going 40% over the initial estimate. But in October 2019 they came back out to fix some problems with the earlier work and to perform some additional work at a very reasonable cost. The crew that originally painted my house is no longer with the company. Bill's crew performed the work this year, and did a much better job. Bill will have a prominent role in MHI going forward, so I am confident they will be a very different company than the one I dealt with in 2016. I'll likely have Bill's crew repaint the interior of my house when this is done in a month or so. While I gave the 2016 MHI poor grades, Bill earned all A's."
