"This was definitely a 5 star operation from the initial discussions to the finishing touches! For a major renovation and upgrade to our master bathroom we reviewed potential contractors and their customer comments. VKB stood out. Our VKB designer Sean clearly has artistic talent and lots of design experience. He patiently worked with us, showing us 3D design options as we considered alternative configurations and materials. When we were satisfied with the design, Sean transitioned us smoothly to the build phase, introducing Jason as our project manager and Walter as our crew chief. Sean personally familiarized Jason with the project, inviting us to share our thoughts and any concerns. During the renovation, Walter and his crew would carefully isolate the MBR work from the rest of the house, sealing off the room and path to the front door with plastic barriers and floor coverings every morning and remove them every evening. Everyone was polite and sensitive to our living space. Jason was responsive to our wishes to refine several design aspects as the work proceeded, and Walter and his crew smoothly made the alterations. After the main construction was completed Jason remained very attentive to our ‘punch list’ of remaining details and our questions until all had been resolved. Walter ensured very high-quality work down to the finest detail. All the work from design to completion was well within the timeframe we had hoped. In the end, we have a beautiful MBR well beyond our original expectations!"

"We had a great remodel experience with Mega Kitchen and Bath. After watching a little too much HGTV in preparation, we had lots of design ideas and the designer Kat Bradshaw was extremely patient and accommodating as we changed our mind and asked to see multiple design options. She also helped us make (and edit) our design choices and came up with solutions to help fit everything we wanted in our small space. She provided great customer service, was extremely responsive, and spent a lot of time with us as we made all my design choices. Once construction began, Ibrahim and his team were professional, responsive, and easy to work with as well. They came every day on time, did high quality work, and kept us updated on progress and issues that arose. While no renovation project is complete without a few surprises and minor snafus, the team handled them quickly and professionally. They were always willing and available to answer our questions, inform us of issues, give us options for addressing the issues that arose, and make changes we requested. They even went above and beyond the terms of our contract, fixing a burst water pipe for us when the winter weather got the better of our old pipes at no additional cost. The remodel was completed within 6 weeks, slightly longer that the original estimated but very reasonable given the changes and unexpected issues that came up. In summary, we would highly recommend them to others!"

We contracted with CRG Remodeling in May 2019 for a kitchen and powder room remodel in Washington DC, and ended up doing much more, including LR/DR/hallway painting, plumbing fixes, and an office remodel. We found Cornelio to be honest, highly efficient, professional, responsive, can-do and flexible. He is easy to communicate with, punctual, skillful, and knowledgeable. The team fixed problems as needed and any additional work was priced fairly. He has an excellent crew which was capable of doing most of the work (floor sanding was done by others). "Very well. Robert explained the work they would do and he coordinated tile, plumbing and countertop replacement. We had an early 80's kitchen that needed help but we didn't want a major renovation. They updated our cabinets with new, larger doors, painted the frames, added soft-close hinges, and constructed a new cabinet to replace a built-in desk. New backsplash, granite countertops, and hardware. Their work was a superb value and we're pleased with our new "bright" kitchen!"

"The issue and the search for a fix: <br /> We have an old builder grade Wayne Dalton two car garage door. The curved arm attached to garage door from the lift-master system came off and there was no easy way to attach it back correctly. Also the springs on the door had lost tension which is probably why there was so much weight on the arm that it broke off. We checked with several garage door companies. We got one of two standard responses from most of them. They either suggested we replace our entire garage door, as in their words the Wayne Dalton garage doors we have are really terrible quality and are no longer made and its worth the investment to get new ones rather than invest in fixing these. The cost for this would be roughly 1200 or so. The other response was that we would be charged a fee for them to come do an in-home estimate to correctly diagnose the problem. If we did go with the company that did the estimate they would of course put that fee towards our total bill. I did not much like that alternative either because i'm in the habit of getting multiple quotes before i decide on a company or contractor i like so i was likely to lose a bunch of estimate fees before i found the right contractor. <br /> Stoneberger and our experience with them: <br /> Stoneberger was the first garage company that offered us a free in-home estimate. The guy we spoke to Brian was very competent and seemed to understand our issue instantly just from talking about the problem. He explained how they could take care of the problem by rigging up the arm correctly and attach it to metal struts and his solution sounded good to us. He quoted us a decent price for parts and labor which would be confirmed at the time of our in-home estimate appt. The guys who came for the in-home appt checked out the door and quoted us about the same and came prepared to do the job so i gave them the green light. They took about 30-40 mins. Not only did they fix the broken arm issue and add tension to the springs, they also tightened the hinges on the panels, oiled the springs and leveled our door (it used to close slightly crooked before so there would be a small gap on one end). The main guy Rodney was polite and professional. I probably asked him to repeat stuff several times as he explained things to me and he remained patient and very pleasant the entire time. They did a great job and I got a 1 year warranty on the work they did. I could not ask for more. I'm a very satisfied customer and I recommend Stoneberger very highly. <br />"

"This job was part of a whole house painting job the company did on a single family house I was putting on the market. It has two levels of hardwood floors, 15 windows and one patio door. There is a kitchen and two full bath an powder room. The crew did a great job, especially with the professional range (Wolf 36") and range hood (Vent-a-Hood, 900 cfm) that saw some heavy cooking over the past few years. They did miss two windows. I'm sure if I pointed out in time, Amilcar will work on them. But given the great job they did overall, I have nothing to complain. Amilcar is very responsible and responsive. It was a pleasure working with him."
