I wouldn't recommend another company to do pavers, concrete, or landscaping work. The attention to detail was absolutely amazing! They transformed the front and the back of my home with beautiful pavers, hand cutting each piece and laying each one of them so symmetrically. I've had at least half a dozen neighbors stop in to see their work and ask for a business card! And the clean up...my goodness. Each day they wrapped up everything, put tools away, and keep everything so tidy and clean. I really appreciated that. No mud and dirt everywhere...it was incredible! During my consult, I shared my vision with Jose and his team created the design for the back patio, the walkway, and a new front porch. I trusted his expertise and wow - it is so beautiful. "A neighbor had some work done by 7th State and I watched their progress, so I asked the neighbor for their contact. I had a small porch replaced by a screened porch. The original porch was wood and starting to dry rot, and was slippery in rain and snow. I met with Anthony in February for an estimate and to tell him what I wanted. The County permit process and requirements for improvement went on until September -- an 8 month wait. They required me to plant trees and shrubbery simply to replace something already there, OR pay a fee to not plant trees and shrubbery. Ashley in the office helped me through this and kept me advised of the progress toward getting it started. Work began on September 10, ended mid October. Each step had to be approved by the permit office. The workmanship and finished product are outstanding. Neighbors have complimented me on the improvement. Some workers worked up until 7:00pm to finish their part of the project. I would recommend this contractor to anybody."

"Rick Golobo and his crew did an outstanding job totally renovating our parking lot at an apartment building we operate in Washington DC.  They gave a competitive price and delivered on it.  We forgot to request striping and numbering of the parking spaces and were flexible enough to add them in after the contract was signed.  They also installed bollards at the end of the job to stop the local trash contractors from using our lot to reverse their trucks which had caused a lot damage in the past.  We would definitely recommend them for any sort of asphalt or resurfacing work based on our experience.  We will definitely be using them again on similar projects.

"After finding Tillerman Gardens online and requesting an estimate for substantial hardscape/landscape work on our newly renovated house, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that Jesse, the owner, actually grew up in our neighborhood! On top of being a Takoma Park local, and an all around friendly, honest, business owner, we also came to learn that he does great work as well! His team completely transformed our hardscape areas, including installing a beautiful flagstone walkway and patio, a perfectly graded cement driveway, iron railings on our steps, and plants in a number of locations. On top of that, some of the work required some touch up and sealing and Jesse and his team have come out a couple of times later this spring to do that work unprompted. There's a little bit left, but I know they'll be around to finish it as they've taken care of us every step of the way. Even better, everything was done in budget. Look no further! These are your go to guys for all landscape/hardscape work in the area!"

"It took 6 weeks to get the appt after buying the "deal". I asked on the phone if it would be a good idea to remove old caulk around tub ahead of time ( so cleaning could cover all tile surface) . I was told it would, so I removed caulk. A miscommunication I suppose. Upon arrival it was explained that they use a pressure washer. Not only would tub surround need to be caulked but the perimeter of the room where tile surface meets floor would need caulk too. Options were to caulk myself and re-book appt. , sign a waiver accepting any water damage, or pay $125 to caulk and they could finish the job all at once. I decided to let them caulk. They didn't have the materials or tools to caulk so one went to Home Depot while one started cleaning. I was told the cleaning chemicals in the caulk gap didn't need to dry before caulking, hope that's true!  Anyway, not a great start, but okay.
I hoped the finish product would have been better but that was just okay too.  Grout color didn't really look much different after the cleaning. Fat bright white caulk line up the wall of the tub surround (that was previously grouted) looked terrible against the gray tile. I spoke up and he said he'd remove it and replace it with clear caulk. Unfortunately that didn't work out so one tub wall has white and one has clear caulk. Also some floors are white and some are clear.  Toilet got caulked too and I wish it hadn't because we are replacing it soon. Sealant that was wiped over grout left clear schwissy haze marks all over the tile. I had to wipe off EVERY single tile to remove the haze. Caulk residue on tub needs to be scraped off. A little mud on floors and tub was left behind. Really nice people but end result did not meet my expectations."

Padro is very meticulous in his work and takes great pride in it as well. I would definitely have him come back and do any other projects that might come up.
