"Our central air unit died and we called Sila due to the good reviews. Turns out they won’t install a new AC unit if the furnace is more than 10 years old (ours was). So we had to do both at once (ouch). They started off quoting us $11k over the phone, then it jumped up to $16 when they saw our system in person. (1950 sq foot house). Finally they came back with $13k for the cheapest system in our size range. Overall I think we really overpaid and it left a bad taste in my mouth. That said, Sila gets an A+ for availability and service. They came and installed next day which was essential because we have a young child and it was over 90 degrees that week. Actual installation was great. System works well. Next time I’ll anticipate a system replacement before we get to an emergency situation. I think this could have been done for thousands cheaper, on a longer timeline."

"We recently had NETR install a ductless system in our single family home, and the entire experience working with NETR was consistently impressive. At every stage of the process the folks at NETR were super responsive and helpful, and their professional approach resulted in a zero surprise and zero problem experience. After initially reaching out to NETR to inquire about their services they setup a consultation visit. Russell Dodd arrived to review our property, listen to our needs and concerns, and recommend a solution. Russell is a friendly guy with many years of experience with ductless installations and had all sorts of clever suggestions on how to make this installation work best in our home. It's worth noting we also had 2 other top rated competitor firms visit to conduct property reviews, and the people that showed up were significantly less experienced than Russell and clearly did not have the product knowledge or range of ideas that Russell shared during his visit. Within days of Russell's visit we had an installation quote/estimate in hand and after sorting out a few details with NETR we scheduled an installation date. The contract covered all the items we had discussed with Russell and was very straightforward. The NETR price was competitive and in the same ballpark as the other companies – but with far superior follow-up and consultant services. There were no surprises or unclear items listed on the NETR quotes, while the quotes we received from the other companies had some areas where costs were not entirely clear. On the day of the installation Jerry Odom arrived and was the technician assigned to lead our project. Jerry was super friendly and carefully took the time explaining his installation process, listened to and answered any of our questions, and immediately went to work. Over the course of the 2 full day installation Jerry quietly and skillfully pulled everything together and made sure the units were placed exactly where we had requested. He did an exceptional job hiding piping and basically making sure that the new units throughout the house were installed in a very clean looking manner. Jerry was joined by two colleagues at various points during the installation and all were equally competent and skilled professionals. From initial outreach to the final day of the installation we interacted with at least 5 different people from NETR. The staff working back in the office were also very professional and helpful at all times. We interacted with Eleni and even one of the owners at one point when calling to confirm installation dates. This is obviously a company that values taking great care of the customer and sets an expectation that their staff are all honest, helpful, responsive and fair in all interactions. NETR deserves all the superlatives that are used to describe their people, processes, and services. This is a business that clearly makes it a priority to take care of the customer and deliver top quality work. We are very happy that we chose NETR over other vendors and would recommend them to anyone looking to install a ductless system."

"Diagnosis and repair were straightforward and the talented Mike, who has done other great work for us on our ACs, had a replacement pump in his truck. Swapped over in under an hour. Cost of the repair was quite high, mainly due to very high price they charged for the pump. A Taco pump that I could buy for $175 was priced on this repair at more than $500. I get that it was an urgent situation and I’m happy to pay reasonably for the response but that mark-up bothered me. I called the office, had a long talk with the owner; sadly, she offered no consideration at all. Yes, it’s hard to find and keep skilled techs, but now seems that most HVAC firms have a business model like a car dealer’s service dept, far more corporate, less flexible or customer-considerate."

"Joe explained various options (models, efficiency rating, attic vs. cellar installation, etc.) thoroughly, promptly followed through on my follow-up questions, and prepared a detailed & accurate quote. He measured the size of the house and cold-air returns to ensure the system was sized properly. He is a patient guy & very pleasant to work with. Scheduling the installation was painless, the installers (Steve and his assistant Derek) started on time, and worked diligently & efficiently. <br /> Everyone is very experienced and knowledgeable, and all clearly take pride in their work. They kept in excellent communication with me throughout the installation. They were respectful of my home, my concerns, my pets, etc. <br /> They stand by what they sell, too. This winter, about 18 months after it was installed, my tankless hot water heater had a factory defect that caused it to shut off. Steve came the day I reported the problem, was on the phone with the manufacturer for hours to diagnose the issue, and came back twice more to finish the repair (3 visits might sound absurd, but it wasn't Airco's problem, it was the manufacturer's, as they were misdiagnosing the issue). The unit is now working perfectly thanks to Steve's persistence. A bonus: Airco charged me for only a small portion of Steve's time from his initial visit. They ate the cost of his additional visits! "Talked to Matt the owner one very hot Sunday in June when my A/Cs were not working. I had my regular folks tell me it was shot and had a leak. Matt sent his team out on Monday and the A/Cs were up and running in about 40 minutes. There was no leak. They worked beautifully all summer. My neighbor's went out this year - her unit was about 5 years older than mine. I gave her NextGenAire's contact info and she just replaced her unit. She is very happy with the price and service."

"I needed to replace an older AC unit that is in a very tight spot in an attic. I had 4-5 people out to look at it and I thought Atlantic (Bill) was by far the most knowledgable and had the best understanding of what I needed, and did the best job explaining it to me. Their pricing was about the same as everyone else so that was the reason I went with them. After we scheduled the install I didn't hear from them until the day before (a Sunday) when I had to reach out to the office. But other than that the installation couldn't have been smoother. Kyle and his team were exactly on time each morning and were very nice and professional and got everything installed smoothly with very minimal need from me. Would definitely recommend."
