He was able to visually detect a leak where the line from the propane tank enters the house, and pressure tested the gas line from the propane tank to the house to confirm the leak. With the help of his assistant, he repaired the line (replacing worn out portions of the line) within a couple of hours, confirmed there were no other leaks in the line (via additional pressure testing), and re-lit the gas furnace and water heater. Only complaint is the extreme expense ($890)."
