Overall, we are happy with the new shower, but the floor needs to be addressed along with a chip in the floor ceramic tile, caused by workers."

Poor communication with condescending conversations, dumpster/old floor disposal not included in quote (unknown to me until after deposit was given), gaps/holes not filled, floor color not even, sealer not applied in same number of coats or not evenly, pushed fridge over uneven floor color to cover (wouldn't have known if I didn't move it closer to the wall), hall floor left with 3 color differences (told to let it age), pushed off coming back to fix issues 2 weeks at a time causing a 1 week project to take 2 months. I had to buy sealer to attempt fixing multi color hallway floor. Did the best I could but it's still not right (just not glaringly obvious). Stair nose cut on angle to let pantry door open - raw cut and not finished. Had to ask him to replace with stair edging. He said work left for me was work his contractors finished for him on other jobs. I'm not a contractor or DIY person causing high stress levels over 2 months. If you can finish the job, you're ok."

"Our primary living room has this obvious seam running down the middle of the room. The carpet installers told us when they looked at the room, that they locate the seam to be close to one of the walls. Instead they put it where everyone is sure to see it. Not a good look. But that's not why I rated them poorly. I have a photographing table in my basement. The installers moved it and moved it back, and broke off two of my light holders in the process. Ugh! This hardware is no longer made and now I have to hunt down replacement hardware that will cost me at least $500."

"Hamilton Hardwood designed, delivered, and fitted a custom hardwood white oak floor to the highest standard in my living room. Justin and Danielle were always available 24/7 for questions and able to accommodate my very particular taste and somewhat OCD approach. Before they accepted the job I had had 4 or 5 separate wood installers tell me that what I wanted to do was impossible. However, when I posed the same questions to Justin he told me "give me a day to think about how to do it." The next day he came back with numerous drawings of ideas that be had put together to give me exactly what I was after.
The final job is amazing, I have a 360 degree wood floor without a molding around the periphery. The oak floor goes under a staircase, under a fireplace, and under all the baseboards.
The install was done 3 months ago now, and it is perfect. I have had it scrutinized by my neighbor who owns construction firm and a good friend of mine that is an expert carpenter - both are blown away with the work Justin and Danielle did. BTW, I nearly forgot to mention. I was under a tight deadline to get this work done, and they worked 12 hours a day to make sure that they hit the deadline.
