"I got quotes from three different contractors to do my master bathroom. While they were all relatively in the same ballpark, I just liked Tom better than the other two contractors. He seemed to listen to what I wanted and made suggestions and I just felt more comfortable with him. He tiled the floor and shower in the master bath, replaced vanity, installed a tub surround to match the vanity that I bought, installed lighting, painted, and installed two recessed medicine cabinets. Everything came out beautifully - very happy with it. In the guest bathroom he did tile floor, replaced the vanity, installed "paneling," painted, patched wall, put up a new mirror, and lighting. We were trying to spend as little as possible on our guest bathroom and in the end the cost for renovating this room actually came out under budget. I was happy with the outcome as well as the working relationship. Tom actually answered his phone most of times that I called and if he couldn't answer right away he called back that day. Although he started later than he said he would he called frequently with updates about when he thought they'd begin (prior job ran longer because client kept making changes). Communication and punctuality alone are reasons enough to hire Tom. I have never worked with a contractor who seems to think these things were important. It cut down on my stress level and frustration considerably. His crew was very professional and friendly and left everything clean and tidy each day. They were nice to my kids and dogs and I felt comfortable leaving them in my house alone. I would and have recommended them. So, I guess the only downside to Nicholas Tile & Bath is that they don't do kitchens :-("

"Everything went very well, i.e., the consultations & purchase with Noel Smith in the showroom, the precise measurements, and the fabrication & installation coordinated by Donny the fab shop manager. Everyone involved in the process was very personable, professional & competent, and easy to work with. A few weeks after the installation, we noticed a minor flaw (knick) on the product which Donny was able to repair very much to our satisfaction. He also made an excellent repair of a knick that we had caused a few months later. He is very good at what he does. The company's product selection, attention to detail & customer service are all excellent."

He showed up on time and completed work in a timely fashion. He checked my shower and issues in all bathrooms and in the crawlspace. I appreciated him taking pics of all the problems and pics p repairs done. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything that needed to be done before work was done and then wrote up an estimate. I am in an older home and explained the type of pipes I had in other areas would need to be replaced eventually and is to send me a quote for this to be done later. No mess left behind. "James was responsive, courteous, and professional AND helped us diagnose - free of charge on a follow-up call - an ammonia smell related to our sealed crawlspace completely unrelated to the plumbing.  He even referred us to a new termite / pest / company (whom we have chosen to take over service following our purchase of the home).  He also checked our entire crawlspace for leaks or other issues that might have been missed by our inspector and provided a wealth of information on AAV valves, pressure regulators and anything else I could throw at him.  Perhaps the best part - James (a very experienced plumber) is the owner AND... does the work HIMSELF with a colleague in tow.  Touch 2 O faucets (this is our third in 3 homes in 3 years) can be a bit finicky and this install was completed without a hitch.  If you want the same experienced professional that QUOTES the job to also be the one to COMPLETE it, pick Gentile Plumbing!
