"The project was done with excellency. AP Concrete was very understanding of what I wanted within a timely manner. My driveway has stamped & decorative concrete. And I now have a beautiful patio in my backyard as well. AP Concrete was able to work with my budget and gave budget friendly suggestions. I will be hiring them again for any other future projects."

"My concrete driveway has needed repair for several years. This year after several bids from contractors, I hired Marcos as I felt very comfortable with what he said as well as his price. As Marcos was working on the concrete driveway, I found him to be an extremely hard worker especially when it came to detail, of which I am fastidious. He poured new concrete on our driveway and partway into our garage. Unfortunately, we had problems with the old concrete in the garage, so Marcos came back, took out all the concrete in the garage and poured new concrete in the whole garage giving me new steps into the house. Additionally, he went the extra mile helping me to take everything out of the garage including a refrigerator and freezer and then moving them back when he was done. Of course, projects always have a domino effect meaning where do you stop. So, Marcos built new shelves in our garage and painted. We now have a “new” garage with a new concrete driveway. If you are reading this and in need of a concrete contractor, Marcos is your guy! Thank you Marcos."

"The concrete looks good. I had to remove some of the forms.. Still waiting for my front yard to be repaired. Have talked to the owner in the past week and theyeah speak Andy still has not offered to repair my front yard"
After excavating the dirt, we were able to locate where to put in the door.
Then using a concrete saw they cut through the basement wall.
The purpose of footings is to support the foundation and prevent settling. Footings are especially important in areas with troublesome soils.
Once the footing was located, we placed the wood forms.
Poured the footing. As you can see the 4 inch rebar, is for preparation to form the retaining wall.

"This company is absolutely the best company I have dealt with in a long time! They show up when they say they will be here and on time. They had a big job to do at our house. We needed part of our driveway and. our sidewalk removed and replaced. They got the job done in the amount of time they quoted us and every single person that worked at our place was so respectful and knowledgeable in what needed to be done. I have referred them to my family for work. They honestly are one of the best out there with workmanship and price. The owner even stopped by after about a month to make sure we were still happy. Awesome people and Awesome Work!!"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Salt Lake City, UT

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
