Hi, my name is Matthew, and I started On-Call Home Repair back in 2023 with the idea of creating a hub for home repairs, maintenance, and construction. "I thought that was false advertisement and  wasn't happy overall.  They only do one side of the window and count it as a window on both sides.  I guess it was okay for window cleaning. "

"The plumbing upgrade and dishwasher installation went very well this morning.  I bought a dishwasher for first-time installation in my older home and had texted Joshua the night before with pics of the "then current" plumbing and electrical situation.  He arrived on time with proper plumbing and electrical fittings and went immediately to work.  The used dishwasher I'd bought required more pieces, so getting those from Lowe's was arranged and he finished the entire job within 2 hours!  The only small concern (which he immediately straightened out!!) was the chrome airgap pop-up on the sink was a bit crooked, but again, he fixed that right up.   I am looking forward to hearing his estimate on some upcoming electrical  work for my patio.   I WILL recommend him to my neighbors and local friends!!

"Tony is a professional contractor and very nice guy to work with. He came out and consulted with us the work that needed to be done on our roof and kitchen and gave us a price that worked within our budget. He was able to start working on this project the following week. Tony and his crew provided excellent service , very courteous and helpful and they continued to work tirelessly until the work was completed in about 3 days. They were very organized and on time from start to finish.They did an excellent job.The work was done on time with no surprise ending.
 He also did some cabinet work in the kitchen and included this at no extra cost. Tony provided pricing and information and remodeling ideas for our kitchen, electrical, painting and window blinds and installation and he will be our go to guy for all of our housing and landscaping projects."

"I contacted Alltech Solutions, Inc., for a swamp cooler repair. The water was not reaching the cooler, and it was very, very hot in my home, and my backup, room-sized AC units didn't even phase the 100+ temps outside. They kindly scheduled me on the Friday just prior to the Memorial Day Weekend, since I called them on Thursday. I wasn't expecting that they could fit me in for the next day, but they did. The technicians I met were extremely polite and cordial, and very quick and competent in resolving what the issues were -- no fuss, no fanfare. The price was very good as well. My house is now completely comfortable even with heat in the 100's! Many thanks!!"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
