"The Risen team did a great job for me installing steel piers to raise my foundation. Kip gave me a great proposal at a competitive price. He explained how the project would be managed. He delivered on everything he promised, and the overall product and job performance exceeded my expectations across the board. No surprises, no gotchas. David and his crew (Anthony, Larry, Jose, Glenn, Demarcus, Markos, Israel, and Bryan) completed the job in 1 day. They were professional, respectful, responsive, and efficient. I also observed how they bagged the soil as they excavated, then later backfilled with the soil from the bags, leaving the job site very clean with little impact to the yard. The Risen team delivered a product and service I feel good about and I now have a confidence in the integrity of my home foundation that I did not have before. Risen Foundation Solutions was a good choice - they gave me the best solution at the best price, without breaking the bank. "

"when I got the qoute I was amzed that it was 1/3 the cost of others and using the same exact material, others told me they could get to me in a month or 2 , from the time i asked them to do the owrk they were out in a couple of days ,it would have been sooner but wearther held them up, when the crew came it was as professional as you could get, instead of a week long job as qouted by other contractors they completed it it 2 days and after clean up you could not tell they were there, with a life time warrentee couldn't asked for anything more. Also the other Companies wanted to charge me 1600 for a check that they did for free couldn't be more pleased"

FAQs for concrete foundation raise projects in San Antonio, TX

On average, it takes two to seven days to physically raise your house. However, this does not include the preparation work, which is often the most lengthy process. The entire project, including preparation, obtaining permits, disconnecting utilities, and any subsequent landscaping, can take four to eight weeks. This timeline ensures everything is done safely and that your home remains structurally sound.

If proper safety protocols are not followed, raising a house can cause severe damage, as the process involves applying controlled force to the home's structure. The risks involved make it crucial to hire a skilled contractor who uses engineered methods to secure your home and prevent any harm to your household.

If your foundation shows signs of instability after raising your home, you might need to add structural support. A structural engineer can assess your foundation and recommend reinforcements to ensure your house stays stable and safe for the long term. Available support options include installing additional piers or pilings, reinforcing existing footings, or using steel beams to distribute the load more evenly.

You will need a structural engineer to assess your home before you begin. These professionals determine whether your house is suitable for lifting and identify any issues that could compromise its stability. Their expertise ensures that the project is designed correctly and all risks are managed to achieve a successful lift.
