"I really needed my outside faucet replaced, it was not working properly and was very hard to turn off, to prevent leaking. I called Excalibur Plumbing and they sent Curtis out to fix my issue. He was very friendly, courteous and easy to work with. I use this faucet a lot in the summer time to water my flower bed and my yard. It's now working better than ever! Thanks Curtis!"

"I had a waterline added in the kitchen. They were a little expensive but they were timely and had great customer service. The plumber had to come back because the line was leaking but they sent someone to fix it the next business day. I would have given them a higher quality rating but they didn't turn the water heater back on after they finished the work."

"So this is probably the best plumber I have ever dealt with in my 12 years of home ownership so far. First of all - this review is not only about Mr. Rooter in general, but specifically about the plumber I was lucky enough to use - Jason Henderson. The guy is a total BOSS! The work we had done was first of all to convert my electric cooktop to a gas top, and secondly, replace my water heater. Jason can out pretty quickly, got everything hooked up for the gas line and then when the inspector came out with his notes, Jason updated the little things here and there to keep it moving. The water heater was a whole other animal. The old water heater was 27 years old, so WAY out of code. Jason spent a full day removing the old one and getting everything up to snuff. He also went the extra mile of doing a final pressure test on the gas lines after everything to make sure that when the inspector came out we KNOW we will pass. There are so many other little things he kept doing throughout the ay that showed that he truly cares about his customers. It may not be much if I listed them, but to me and my family it was these extra little things that made a whole world of difference. I would definitely recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone as their prices and timing was top notch, but, more specifically, if you can get Jason Henderson on your job - DO IT! You will NOT be let down!"

"Josh and his brother replaced a large tub upstairs. They were both very pleasant and explained everything they needed to do. They also worked late to make sure there were no leaks in any of the hoses or drain lines. I will let all my friends and family know about this company and the very reasonable cost. John L. "Two young men arrived, identified themselves well, brought the parts needed as requested and got right to work. They were efficient and professional and answered all our questions clearly while progressing with the work. They shut down the house water and worked efficiently to complete the job. They removed the old spout and valve, inspected and repaired the old plumbing located behind the old fixtures, and installed chromed plated fixtures that met our expectations splendidly. We were given the cost for the parts and for the time it took to install and we paid with a check on the spot for the service rendered. Everything was well organized and executed. We would suggest them to anyone."

"This was a kitchen faucet replacement. When the plumber opened the new faucet box he discovered that new faucet had been broken and returned to the store. He rescheduled the installation for the next day and did not charge any additional fee to return to finish the job."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in San Marcos, TX

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
