"I LOVE Neli. I've used them three times now. Harmond (my Neli service man) is a joy to work with and an absolute walking encyclopedia of appliance repair. Our thirty-year-old washer are dryer are running like new, at a fraction of the cost of replacing them."

"We had problems getting our refrigerator/freezer to work properly for over a year and considered replacing it but decided to give a repair service a chance. Max came in, quickly diagnosed the issue, warned that he might not be able make an effective repair and allowed us to weigh the risks before proceeding with his fix. Within an hour, Max had the compressor purring like new and our freezer temperature dropped to a perfect -1 F. Replacement cost for built-in refrigerator is over $10,000 so Max’s service was money well spent. I appreciate Max’s honesty, professionalism and technical capabilities. I highly recommend his services for appliance repair."

"Plumber said it's a good idea to clear plumbing lines every 10 years or so depending upon how much grease, oil, etc each household uses.  I thought that sounded like a good idea to power clean my lines.  I assumed it was included in the price but they charged an additional $400.  I didn't think it was fair since my lines had no problems and looked great.  I was not expecting this additional cost. At the time I couldn't fine their advertisement with all the services included until later. I did not have time (my fault) to do research as to how much these services cost.  They said since they were here anyway why not get the service done now rather than schedule additional service call.

"We cannot recommend Precise Home Builders highly enough. In December 2012, my fiancée and I found ourselves in a less than ideal situation for a major remodel: We needed significant work done on our house, we wanted major improvements in addition to the repairs, we had a hard maximum budget, and we needed the work done in 6 months. Oh, and we were living across the country in New York City, had never been involved with a remodel before, and could only visit three times during the work. Six months later, we have a home that is better than our dreams, on time and on budget. Dino, Lee and the rest of their crew were amazing.
1)  Dino did an amazing job of figuring out, and adapting to, our tastes. Early on in the process, Dino took us to tile and slab stores to pick out countertops and bathroom floors. He made a couple of countertop suggestions to start, but we fell in love with a somewhat different look. From that first choice, Dino immediately had our style figured out and was able to calibrate his suggestions to this style (and to be honest I don?t think we could accurately describe our style?but he knew what we liked). For example, on a later trip to a tile store for more bathroom tile and a back splash, Dino let us explore, sensed we were becoming overwhelmed, and then steered us towards a finite range of choices that would best work with the counters and tile we had already chosen. Maybe more impressively he filled in the details on a number of aspects of the home in ways that perfectly matched our style?the molding, a wine bar, built in cabinets in the laundry room, and lights, to name a few.
2)  Other reviewers have commented that Precise is expensive. That?s not exactly true. We certainly got quotes from others that were cheaper, but drilling down into those quotes we realized that the lower prices sacrificed on materials and craftsmanship. Precise provides a detailed list of work to be done (ours included nearly 200 specific points); when we showed this to a family member who works as a contractor, he pointed out that a similar structure could be completed for less, but we were getting the best, at a very reasonable price. For example Dino suggested that we do the a ?mud job? or cement float under the bathroom floors and showers, rather than a more lightweight cement board. You may pay a little more with Precise, but it?s almost certainly for a better product.
3)  Considering that we are young, had no experience with home improvements, and were not able to check up regularly on the work, Precise could have taken advantage of us. That didn?t happen and I think it is a testament to the their integrity and commitment to quality. One example of this: When we visited near the end of the construction, Dino walked us into the house, took one look at the pendant lights above a kitchen island, turned to us and said, ?Those aren?t placed correctly. See, this one is 8 inches from the edge of the (stove) hood, and this one is one is only 5 inches. I?m going to have the workers move them by an inch and a half each, so that they?ll be the same distance from the hood.? Importantly,  we had not noticed the issue before Dino brought it up AND the kitchen was already almost completely finished?including the paint on the ceilings. But Dino had the workers move those lights. Similarly, when we moved in the only problem we noticed was low hot water flow to the kitchen sink--it ended up being a kinked line. Dino had someone out the same day, and called later to make sure everything was working right. . . he was more concerned about it than we were!
4)  They are fast. Others had quoted 8-10 months of work if everything went perfectly. Precise said five and a half. And they stuck to it.
5)  Precise was committed throughout to hitting the contract/estimate price?and even on bringing it down where possible. At one point Dino suggested doing away with a vaulted ceiling in part of the living room to save money to remodel a bathroom that we hadn?t originally planned on redoing (but badly needed to redo). Later in the work, when they ripped off the roof to replace it, they found that the previous roofers had not put plywood down?even though laying plywood under the roof was not included in the original contract, Precise did it for no additional cost. Indeed, throughout the work Precise endeavored to find ways to reduce our costs without sacrificing on quality.
6)  Precise has a great network of suppliers?and is a great intermediary between you and them. Shopping for things like appliances was quick, cheap and painless. Further, when we decided to return a vanity, Precise negotiated down a restocking fee with the supplier.
7)  They do a great job of communicating. When I would email with questions, I either got answer back within hours, or I got email explaining when they would be able to get back to me."

"I hired Yari based on positive Angie's List reviews.  Overall, I'd give him a luke warm rating, and MIGHT use him again, though would probably investigate some other options first.  The work done overall was good, however...

The clean-up was poor.  There was a LOT of small broken tile bits and dust left over after they replaced the kitchen tiles.  I have cats (as they saw), and they could have very easily tracked sharp small bits of broken tile on their paws from the loads of it left on the kitchen floor and in the grooves where the grout is.  When they repaired the broken stucco outside, they left dust and debris at the site and obviously threw the remaining water/plaster/mortar/whatever mix through a fence and into my neighbor's yard (am going to try and attach pix - I think I can do that here).  The price he quoted me was for parts and labor ASSUMING I had all those parts already.  I had to go myself with one of his workers to a nearby plumbing supply store to pick up needed items.

He was very responsive in person and by phone, and very cordial and prompt.  The work was decent enough.  I don't know enough about home repairs and contracting to know how fair the price was, but it seemed to be in the ballpark.

Overall recommendation : Proceed, but with caution, and make sure you're clear from the outset what exactly your needs are and what exactly he's promising to provide.  And make sure they clean up properly before leaving."
