"Swanick Builders were not consistent with time lines. They would make choices that we as the homeowners should have been consulted on or made. Builders made many mistakes of placement or painting wrong colors from chosen /discussed choices made by us. When talked to about this they would state its a focal point. Level of work has been found to be subpar at best, needing other professionals to come correct. Sub contractors utilized by builders were subpar putting hole in roof . all in all they should not have taken such a large job and we would not be hiring ever again. "

"Once again and with the highest confidence, we hired Russell's Contracting to convert our back entrance into a more open, useful mudroom. As promised, they arrived on time on the expected date and started by sealing off the back entrance for dust. The demolition of the closet was first done, and then the rehab began. From fixing the ceiling to installing new walls, taping and sanding, painting, new baseboards, and moving the overhead light, it was fun to watch. The amount of time they spent was crazy, and the amount of math they did to ensure it was plumb and solid was above and beyond our expectations. My house was built in 1933, and this railing system looks like it could have been original to the house. It is a masterpiece. "Eric and his subs remodeled the second floor bathroom in our 150 year old home. His team competently addressed long neglected problems by reinforcing the floor joists, replacing and leveling the water damaged subfloor, and providing all new leak free (a new experience for us) plumbing. A beautiful floor to ceiling step-in tile shower was installed along with a new waterproof luxury vinyl floor with a solid wood threshold at the door. A new vanity and toilet completed the room. All new ceiling, wall, and trim paint, too. Eric was in daily communication; We always knew a day ahead who would be here and their arrival time. Garrett walked us through the whole process and was always very prompt. If he said he would show up at 9 AM, he would show up at 9 AM. He was also very upfront about our costs?no surprises.
