"I was very impressed with all of the work Jon did.  He came out on time and gave a bid that was very reasonable so I asked when he could start and he started the project the same week.  He fixed the doors, repaired the electrical and repaired and sealed the grout in both bathrooms. Because our home is older, the grout had to be custom matched and it looked beautiful when he was done.  We ordered custom shower doors which Jon installed along with all new shower fixtures.  He also repaired the dry rot on the siding of our house in two different locations.  He matched the siding and the paint so perfectly, we could not tell where the damage had been after he completed the job. Jon was always easy to reach and kept me informed through each stage of the repair process.   I really appreciated Jon's professionalism and attention to detail. "I only had a gentleman from Down Home Construction and Renovation here once and I would have him back. I'm glad he came. He's very personable and knowledgeable. I liked him enough even just with that one meeting that I took his business card and put it in my business card drawer. Those people that go in there are the only ones I would like to contact again. I do know he's a good electrician because I watched him when he did the work here. We talked about other things and he seemed to have some good ideas. He wasn't outrageous as far as he was charging. Majority of the people charge travel time and some of them are good enough to say if you can wait, they have a job to do there so they can do the job all at the same time. I said I'm no big hurry but I need to do these stuffs. He said he has a job coming up next week so he suggested he'll come Tuesday that way I won't pay any extra charge for him to come. That works for me. I really appreciate it. Most electricians charge you a lot and some of them live right here. He was very reasonable and that helped because he knew when he was coming and it would save me a little bit. He was very nice, called me back right away and when he came here, he was right on time. He did the work exactly how I requested it and it ended up looking good. I like him and I would like him back."
