"Our initial meeting with Suj was great. Initially, we had in mind a much larger job. He had quoted us $3000 for the closet demolition / wall rebuild (non-load bearing), packaged with several other items. Together with the fee for drawings ($4000) and permits, this was a bit higher than we anticipated. However, we decided to go with Suj due to his responsiveness and professionalism. Out of our other quotes, Suj’s pricing was middle of the pack - not the cheapest or most expensive. When the drawings were complete and evaluated, he gave us an updated cost of $6000 over text message. The scope of work had changed, and this was no longer part of a bigger project - understandable. The issue was when he gave us the official estimate a week later and up’d the price once again to $9000. When asked what happened, his exact words were “well, I need to get paid too”. He had weeks to consider before quoting the $6000 and nothing had changed since then. The extra $3000 may be insignificant compared to most renovation costs, but for us in our first home, this was back breaking. We continued with Suj since we were already locked in and well past the 3 day cancellation period. Their work for the most part was exceptional. The new wall blended perfectly into our existing structure, and the ceiling patch was also well done. The problem here was the floor. They had dug up a 1” deep pit in the floor, likely to remove the wall studs. However, they did not patch the floor or even let us know this was going to be an issue. We were never told about the pit until I decided to check in on their progress one day towards the end of the wall build. This required us to pay a handyman to come in next day on a weekend to patch the concrete since we had cabinets being installed the following Tuesday. Suj was aware of this and did not believe it pertinent information. Overall, Suj and SoCal Builders do quality work, but the issues in pricing consistency lost us before the work even started. Not even telling us that we’d be left with a 1” deep pit in our floor after was another huge issue which should’ve been brought up much earlier. This was our first experience with a contractor and I’m not sure if this is typical or not. However, it’s enough to make me doubt I’d contact them for any future work."

"I couldn’t be happier with Amir, I am glad that I found him. I’ve been dealing with many contractors and they all have been unprofessional, dirty, and they slowly neglect the job to work elsewhere, leaving mine incomplete. I’ve had to be on top of them just to get the work done, they would usually show up when it was time to get paid. I had lost faith with all contractors, that is until I found Amir. He is the opposite of what I’ve dealt with, professional, to the point, honest and works cleanly. He recently paved a four garage driveway. He got the job done so quick, that my head still spinning, not only that, when I showed him the respective area, he took the measurements, got on his phone to run some numbers, and made an impromptu quote. We picked the dates and the job got done. No B.S. no chasing after Amir. DONE!!. He is currently working on a historical home for me. I will come back and add additional details about my experience with Amir once the whole job is completed, but, as of right now, I am extremely happy. The work is getting done, and quickly. The foundation work started with in a couple of days after we signed the contract. If this was a different contractor, I can positively say that I would still be waiting for the work to begin. If you want to have a horrible experience, do not hire Amir, because you will only have a good, professional experience. Amazing work Amir."

I wasn’t happy all the time, and it took longer than expected, but when I expressed it, Gino was quick to make the changes happen even being hands on some of the time. I don’t know what else are out there, since they are my first and only remodel team, but I’m thankful I choose this company to remodel my entire - now beautiful - home."

"I contacted ING construction what turned out to be 8 months before the work actually started. Golan meet with me and gave my wife and I a very detailed and comprehensive quote. He made us feel very safe that our money would be spent wisely and that we would 100% satisfied with the outcome. After a long delay with city permits and paper work Golan and ING construction where still ready to help us add our bathroom and closet. The project took a little longer then projected but what construction job doesn t and all the issues that popped up, my wife and I were immediately informed about. They always gave us the best option and were looking out for not only our best interest but also our budget. The bathroom and closet came out better then we ever imagined and even after when all was said and done Golan and his team were happy to come back and help with other home projects. I would recommend this company to anyone who asks me about home improvement projects. Can not thank them enough!"
