His was not the lowest bid, but he worked with our budget, going out of his way with his team to not only remove the mold and fix the damage, but also to communicate along the way, check in, help with some extra work not in the original bid for no extra charge, and generally hold our hand throughout what could have been a worse ordeal. We always felt that he and his team cared about us and fixing our problem; they consistently took time to answer questions, explain, and check in with us. They took photos along the way of our mold and their progress, and shared them with us. We also appreciated that they not only did the mold abatement, but the rebuilding, too. Tom recommended a roofer (none of the restoration people we talked to did their roofing ( it is more specialized), and meanwhile his team gave us a temporary patch good for a month or 2. AND they finished one day ahead of schedule! His Redwood Restoration team members are extremely professional, combined with reasonable, caring, honest and attentive to detail. Tom never made us feel that our questions were wasting his time -- we felt 100% seen as real people with a job that needed doing, not some dollar signs that a big company wanted to rake in. "Inspector showed up right on time and began his inspection. He brought air sampling devices, infrared camera, etc. to do a quite comprehensive home and mold inspection. He checked all items of concern regarding the plumbing, electrical, air conditioning unit, etc. I was extremely impressed by the scope of the inspection and knowledge of the inspector. I chose them because the have all the legitimate certifications. They where there for over two hours and the report I received shortly thereafter was very informative and helpful. "Excellent company! Very easy going in scheduling and doing the job AS SUPPOSED TO BE! They recommended a company for the drywall after the asbestos were removed. However, we said we will shop around. They were fine with the idea. We did go with the company that they recommended, though Synergy workers were punctual, professional, and on task. They have a supervisor who came twice to check on the work performed and the person who verified that no asbestos was present before we would come into the house. We did not do the whole house; definitely we will contract them when we need to do the rest. Everything as should be!"

"I would give this company a high score for response as they came to the house within a couple hours of our call. But not so high on protecting carpeting as they worked. They should have used a heavier plastic drop cloth as the one they used shredded as they worked resulting in spotted carpet & flooring. Also the house sub area had to be dried out with fans going 24-7. Unfortunately the first week the fans were in place they were not located correctly to do the job. A second week of additional fans & repositioning was necessary before our plumber could go under the house to remove the old sewer line and replace it with PVC. I'm really undecided on whether I would hire again."
