"Excellent service! We scheduled Plumbing Plus to replace the hot and cold cartridge's in a sink faucet and a tub pop-up drain and overflow gasket. Jared N. quickly assessed the problems. The faucet was so corroded with water deposits that it could not be dismantled to simply replace the hot and cold cartridge's. So Jared replaced the entire faucet with a high quality replacement. After the tub pop-up drain was replaced, Jared checked for leaks by looking in a 'trap door' in the ceiling below the tub that was left after the tub was replaced in an earlier remodel. Jared discovered that the entire tub drain was leaking and need to be replaced, which he did. He also corrected a problem with the drain pipe left from the previous remodel. Although the job was much more complex than expected, Jared was professional, efficient, and extremely cheerful throughout . We highly recommend Jared and Plumbing Plus"

We called several plumbing services and Personal Plumbing was able to come out the next day with their own slab leak tech. The techs were on time and took about three hours to find the leak and reroute and place pipe to repair. They were able to avoid more holes in the drywall by placing the pipe on the exterior garage side, extending us savings. They also showed great integrity by letting us know that any repair would also have to replace factory pressure valve that was no longer working (putting pressure on our system). "ARS was among the first to reply to my weekend request on an online home repair referral site for help with a broken sump pump at my home. I was a little nervous about using them as I'd had an experience about 20 years ago where I was surprised with a seemingly very high bill for replacing a water heater. But, they far exceeded every expectation this time. Most of the companies responding to my post hadn't even read it because they either didn't know what a sump pump was or said they could install one but not provide one. Even the phone receptionist at ARS was confident they both provided and installed sump pumps. It was a Saturday night that I posted the request. On Sunday, at no charge, a service person came by the house to assess the work and give a written estimate. The price was very fair and the service person was prompt, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He instantly understood the problem and how to fix it. He promised to repair it the next day and he did -- right on time, done right, and even did me the favor of teaching me how to get a pilot light ignited on a different appliance inside my house. "The technician came out to give free estimate and was on time but after a fairly brief examination of the leaking faucet gave us an estimate of $600 to repair the leak. Since this was quite a bit above our budget I decided to pull the cartridge out myself and look for a replacement. The tech was kind enough to point out where the shutoff for the water was located so that I could safely do this . When I opened the faucet up and removed the cartridge I took it down to Home Depot which has a nice selection of these items. Unfortunately they didn't have one like mine but when I looked at it more closely I could see that it was really only the rubber seal at one end that had been worn down. This was the source of the leak. I found a little package of these rings that fit my cartridge and this cost me a little less than $4. I installed a new one and put everything back together. It has worked just fine wiith no dripping for about 10 days now. I doubt if I could have done this all myself so I have to give credit where it is due to both the tech from Point Loma Electric and the person at Home Depot who also gave me some advice."
