"I had an Angie?s list coupon for two hours of Roof Maintenance for 199.00.  I called last week and spoke to Brian, I was told someone from the office would call me on Monday to setup and appointment.  They called on Tuesday and I was not home so I called back Wednesday and we set up an appointment for Friday the 27th of September.  A two man crew showed up on Thursday the 26th.  They rang the bell for the front door, I never heard it.  I'm on the second floor of my house and not until I heard something on the roof did I go out to investigate.  I have a guy on a ladder and one on my deck.  I opened the door and asked who they were?
They told me they were from Vista Home Improvement; I thought this odd as I had an appointment tomorrow.  OK, so they tell me they are going to check the roof, which is fine.  I then went to call Vista Home Improvement (West Springfield, MA) to make sure that yes, indeed, two guys were sent today and not for tomorrow.  They couldn't tell me for sure, they did tell me that a number of jobs had come in and then wanted to get mine done ASAP.  OK I guess.
After about 30 minutes on the roof they come to tell me they have sealed a couple of holes on the roof and around the flashing.  Great, I tell them, what about the front of the house around the garage and front porch where it appears the roof is lifting.
They didn't see it; I had to point out the areas.  Since I've never been on the top of my roof (walk out basement, the top of my roof is about 40 ft up) I have to wonder if everything is OK up there.  I have to assume it is, although since I had to point these two sections out, it really doesn?t give me a warm feeling.
I have a gutter pulling away from the roof line and I asked how I would fix that, they told me they would take care of it. (one screw)
I have yet to be up on the roof to see if that is done.  They did hammer a couple of  nails in the area where the roof shingles where coming up in the area where I pointed out.

Attitude? Very  nice. Couldn?t be better.  Listened to my concerns and took corrective action on what I pointed out.

Appearance? ? I understand these people are roofers, but the brown truck they drove down in has NO decals that tell me they are from Vista Home Improvement.  They have nothing on their body that states that as well.
One gentleman had jeans that needed to be retired; huge holes in one of the knee?s and assorted other rips in his pants.  The other gentleman looks like he works in a machine shop.  Perhaps that was just a very nice tan on his hands but I don?t think so.

Overall I thought the price reasonable as this is a house we moved into a year ago and it was worth having professionals check it out.  Home inspectors don?t go up on roofs.
I do fault them for showing up a day early and starting work on the house without the owner being there and giving consent.  I had plans for this morning, those have now changed.  Where do I stand now?  I?ve give them a C overall.  Things, clearly; could have been better as noted above.

FAQs for drain line breakage camera locate projects in Saxtons River, VT

During the inspection, you’ll watch a high-definition video feed that shows exactly what’s going on inside the pipe—everything from minor buildup to major cracks. Your plumber pauses the footage to explain what you’re seeing and why it matters. Bright lights and self-leveling cameras make sure each section is captured clearly, so you leave with a complete picture of your sewer’s health.

Most professionals complete a standard sewer camera inspection in an hour. That window covers setting up the gear, guiding the camera through the line, and reviewing the footage with you. If your house lacks a cleanout and the technician needs to pull a toilet or access a vent stack, tack on a little extra time—and cost—for that added work.

Yes, a sewer camera inspection can help you identify septic system problems. A sewer camera gives your pro a live view of the pipes leading to the septic tank, so they can spot blockages, corrosion, leaks, or other red flags without guesswork. Pinpointing the problem quickly means you can plan the right repair and keep the entire septic system running smoothly.
