He did a great job on picking out which ones to use and how to lay them out. I also had all new base board installed in our house. It came out looking very nice and professional. "From the first meeting in the showroom to months after completion of the project when we'd call about minor issues, everything was outstanding. Steve and Vitaliy were tremendous throughout the process. Although we went into the project with the intent of solely replacing the flooring, we quickly realized that the prices were going to allow us to refinish the kitchen (at a fraction of the cost of a new kitchen) and add flooring in the bathroom and laundry room. Avenues made several trips to our house for measurements and discussion prior to beginning the project. They were there throughout the entire project overseeing the work and answering questions and concerns. Vitaliy has an incredible talent for finding what works best in the house. Once the project was completed, Avenues made several trips to our house to make sure that we were satisfied.
Once the project started, any unexpected issues were brought to our attention. Things that other contractors would have ignored or would have agreed to address for a significant upcharge were addressed professionally and without significant cost to us. Items that needed to be replaced (including flooring) were completed immediately.
We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. While the quality of the product and installation were both excellent, the service we received was outstanding. We've never had an issue that's not been satisfactorily addressed.
They will be the first call I make for our next project.

"Honestly, the sales process was terrible. Nothing is automated via spreadsheets, email is dial up (and only accessible from home), changes are the same pages with white out and rewritten figures. I don't have a real high degree of confidence in their communication, and at times our salesperson got snippy (when we were trying to figure out our choices and budget) and said that "I should be charging you a consulting fee for my design time". HUH? Not professional in my opinion. But WOW, their work is amazing. If you can get past the sales cycle, it is well worth it. Kerry, the guy who does the tile work, is funny, engaging, and the quality of his work is excellent. He's always on time, always protects your house from debris (the best that you can with all that dust) by laying down plastic in the traffic areas, and is always willing to talk about what is happening. I swore after this sales cycle I'd never hire them again, but when my wife and I look at our bathroom, we love it!"

"I bought their contractor for a day at $300.00 which seemed like a deal. The thought was an online video indicated that the project could be done in one day by an inexperienced person. I met with the owner and we agreed that maybe it would take two of his experienced experts An entire day (so $600). We had challenges right in the beginning. There was an electricity outage in the neighborhood that slowed work as they could not use their saws or drills, then the two guys spent a long time arguing about how to do it, then the first four hours were up and one guy left and the other guy diligently stuck around to make up for the time wasted arguing and manually sawing which I appreciated(just to back up a second I had called the owner in the morning to discuss the outage and rescheduling and we had agreed that it would be okay as the equipment had batteries). The manager and I worked out a deal to bring out the one guy for an extra day at the same rate to finish it up and I want to say that I ended up adding one more day but this was two years ago. Nice hard working guy, just slower and less efficient than others I had worked with (in his defense he cost half as much). In the end my under deck roof is okay...it has a lot of spots that leak so my level of satisfaction is not high. In the end I got the work done at $600 (or was it $900?) This was a while back. It took two days I think, maybe three. At the end of the day I paid a C price for C quality work. In retrospect I could have recruited my brother to help me do it but it would have taken us four times as long and I can’t say the quality would have been better. Honestly if I had bid the whole job itself another crew might have charged me $3,000+. So with labor and materials I paid $1,200 maybe $1,500 and it’s adequate. I did appreciate the managers flexibility in extending the special price over additional days and letting the one guy stick around to make up for the bickering and electrical outage."
