"They do great work! From puncutality to price, we will use no other company going forward. Since building a bedroom in our basement, we just had them back last week. We have/had a very small kitchen space in our typical 3 bedroom brick ranch in Chicago. We hired Pawel to remove the adjoining bedroom which we've converted into dining space. This included removal of two walls, reinforcement of two support beams, run electrical for canned lighting, install two other light fixtures, patch drywall and mend existing floors for a great flow. All was completed in a timely manner and of course, the finished product has exceeded our expectations.

"We originally hired Peter to do the design only. We selected him over other architects and are pleased with the design. He listened to our ideas and provided very practical solutions and helped us with zoning variances. During the design phase, they added "and Builders" to their services. We selected Idea over a lower bid because of our good experience with Peter. The build is in progress and the sub-contractors are profession and do quality work. "There was so much work to be done on the house and all of it was done with attention to detail. Fil  responded quickly to all calls and texts. We made changes along the way and Fil was very accommodating with all the changes. Each and every day the work area was completely cleaned up. We were informed daily about what was completed and what job would be started next. During the work we had to move in and Fil completed what we asked to have done before the move so we were able to have finished rooms while the rest of the work was completed. 
The cost was very reasonable. The work was done perfectly. I would use Thor Build again on any project. I will also recommend the company to anyone needing to have work done.

".John and all of the people he works with were excellent. He was always available to answer any questions or address concerns that myself or my wife had. His communication with us was excellent. He always was in constant contact to make sure everything was going smoothly or let us know of a delay or schedule change etc. The quality of his work speaks for itself. "They were very helpful on advising on specifications. In general, I found roofers specifying roof replacement the cheapest way possible rather than what is most cost effective long-term. Once, I got multiple contractors matching on specs, GF was clearly cost competitive, particularly given no subcontractor usage. Actual install was smooth except for two things. It took more time than they budgeted for, but they handled that well and didn't try to ask for extra payment. Second, they discovered that the backing of the house's original aluminum siding was rotten when they were installing new flashing. Understandably, they didn't want to put it back up as is (which I can appreciate). Thankfully, they were able to provide a cost effective answer regarding new siding, as I didn't want to have to big that out with everything already torn up."

"Id like to take a minute to explain our experience with Regency Garages. When we first decided we wanted to build a garage, we met with several companies before contacting Regency. The experience with these companies was less than desirable. It felt like they wanted to build only a simple box style garage and really did a horrible job explaining the process and options. We learned so much from that fist visit and felt very comfortable dealing with her. We then began the process and this is where Regency really shines. As you can imagine, questions can arise. Regency handled all permits and we passed all inspections easily. This is a company you should feel comfortable dealing with. Chicagoland Builders performed the work for a fraction of the price that the other elite preferred provider proposed, and the work was done beautifully. "Cesar and his crew did an excellent job in a highly professional manner. Cesar responded promptly to my initial call and his estimate was provided the same day as the walk through. He prepared a sample of the trim to show how it would look and establish a quality benchmark for the nail hole filling, joint caulking and paint finish. He and his crew showed up on time and worked 7 days a week (after first asking my permission) to complete the job as quickly as possible. Any little defects were promptly corrected without any hassle whatsoever. The job site was kept as clean and orderly as possible at all times. Cesar was very flexible. He agreed to first prep and paint all the stairwells with one coat and then come back a week later for the second coat after the furniture movers had come and gone and left behind the usual dents and scrapes. Cesar and his crew took pride in their work, were enthusiastic and made sure I was completely satisfied."
