"From the first phone call to completion everything went extremely well. I spoke to the owner, Fred Reinboldt, and he informed me what he could do and the price. We agreed and he had the work completed in just a few days. I called before pickup and spoke with the office mgr. Patrice who said someone would be there during the time I said I would arrive. Upon arrival and walking to their front door of the shop on 40th Street, I received a phone call from Patrice. She was going to inform me she would be out of the office for awhile. How considerate was that? I was there and picked up the repaired arm chairs that had been reupholstered. The job was neat and looks real good back on my desk chair. BETTER THAN NEW !!! "We knew the chairs were well made, but needed recovering. Checked Angieslist for locally owned business with a good reputation. Giovanni's Upholstery had excellent ratings; I want to add my high rating to the others for this fine, family owned and run business deserves. The atmosphere in the shop is relaxed but professional; they have a good selection of fabrics and excellent sage advice - from pictures of the chairs they were able to accurately estimate the amount of fabric needed. We were helped by Giovanni's son who guided us through the process, came the next day to pick up the chairs and in a scant two weeks delivered them back to us. If there is such a thing as retail therapy, then Giovanni and his son are a Doctors of Fantastic Customer Service and Charm. The quality of the work was perfect; they even stained the wooden bun feet on two of the chairs. They accept checks (to escape the nasty fees that card companies charge). Frankly, if you have a favorite or valuable piece that needs recovering, I don't believe there could be a better place in the Valley."

"After purchasing an Angie's List Deal, I received the measuring kit in the mail promptly. The template and instructions provided to draw my split table top and each of the leaves were easy to use and understand. I mailed the completed materials and received the table pads very quickly. The table splits in the middle to allow insertion of up to 3 additional leaves. The table also has 2 drop leaves. That's 7 pads. All fit perfectly. I have used them on the table for family parties (not every day) and they're durable and built to last. I keep them in the box they arrived in to protect them when not in use. These are a worthwhile investment."
