"Jason perfectly repaired my 19th-century British campaign chest-of-drawers, purchased on 1stDibs for $5,000, after it suffered major scratching during a recent move. He had to strip the finish from one entire side of the chest. When he refinished it, he matched the original color perfectly, which was especially important to me. The finish and wood grain were the reasons I purchased this particular chest. As for the scratches, I can’t tell they ever existed. Jason also kindly offered to repair a few other blemishes on the chest and did so without making the piece look artificially new.
