"STAY AWAY. I started the sales process for a new carport project with Construction Kings on 9/11/23, in the amount of $54,408.53. I paid a deposit of $16,932.99 so that they could "order the materials". The company told me I didn't need a permit, which seemed off to me since the carport was connecting to my roof / house, so I contacted King County and was told it DID need a permit. After going back and forth for months trying to get the permit process completed I asked for a refund or for them to change the project to a non-permanent carport in a gravel lot adjacent to the original work (no permit required). Construction Kings agreed on changing the project, but after making several promises to start, and even sending a guy out to measure and telling me materials would be dropped off it just never happened. After being ghosted AGAIN for several months I finally requested a refund, which Zak Nash, the owner, agreed on. That was almost two months ago -no refund."

"We built a new deck on our 1970 house in Shoreline. Cameron and his crew (Dale and Ryan in particular) are awesome to work with. Top notch quality work and we love the finished product that will last for many years to come. The team built the deck in record time - minus the railing which was contracted to another company. My frustration was with the railing company (apparently had not worked with them before). The glass railing took 3.5 months to deliver when they had quoted 3-4 weeks… and the communication on the shifting dates was spotty. This was also around the time of the massive heat wave this summer so some of the boards understandably started bowing and expanding - Dale came by each time and made sure to fix any issues. Really appreciated it."
