"I am incredibly impressed with Jeramie Hardy's swift and professional installation of security cameras in my home. Jeramie's expertise and efficiency were truly remarkable. He arrived on time, assessed the installation area promptly, and wasted no time in setting up the security cameras. Jeramie's attention to detail was evident throughout the installation process. He ensured that the cameras were positioned optimally for maximum coverage and functionality. Despite the complexity of the task, Jeramie completed the installation in record time without compromising on quality. I am grateful for Jeramie's exceptional service and the peace of mind that his expertly installed security cameras provide. If you are looking for a skilled and efficient electrician, I highly recommend Jeramie Hardy. Thank you, Jeramie, for your outstanding work!"

"Drywall and Paint LLC Snohomish just completed the removal of popcorn ceilings and interior painting of my 1979 home. Out of the three bids I got, his was the middle bid. I chose this company as David Morales and his team impressed me as being trustworthy. I am so glad I did! They communicated the exact hours of work, and were true to their word. Part of the project was to remove and drywall over a doorway. David added two studs and patched it up! There is no evidence of the doorway. He also filled various holes throughout my house where there use to be outlets. It is wonderful to have this project completed so professionally. I highly recommend this company to others!"

Customers say: True professional

"Steve repaired plaster damaged on the ceiling due to a leak. He also patched holes in the kitchen and bathroom walls. The ceiling and walls look great. He was able to complete the work within a couple of days of initially looking at the job. I'm very happy with the work he did."

"Pedro’s a dream to work with. First off, he’s extremely fast and does things right right off the bat. He has over a decade of experience and if anything, he charges way too little for his efforts. Secondly, he and his father-in-law are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet! I have low energy levels and am quite introverted , meaning I lose a lot of energy interacting with others; interacting with Pedro lifts up my energy and gets me excited about work and life in general. I honestly can’t recommend Pedro enough. If you have a drywall project, do give him a call. You won’t regret it! The project he’s done for me was a newly built wall with door access between the upper and lower levels of my newly remodeled house. What he put in place looks like it’s always been there and was meant to be. It’s truly beautiful work!"

"Phillip did an amazing job at my condo. He painted my kitchen and made sure to even pull the refrigerator out and paint behind it? (my last painters never did?.). He installed new blinds, new towel racks in my bathroom, and everything looks great. He was responsive, on time and friendly and I will definitely be hiring him again for any jobs I need!!!!"

FAQs for plaster service projects in Seattle, WA

Professionals plastering contractors begin by prepping the project area and mixing the dry plaster with water. They wet their tools to prevent sticking and apply the plaster onto the wall. After smoothing out the first coat, they apply a thinner second coat, continuing to smooth the wall until it's even.

You can plaster or skim coat over old plaster if it's still in good condition. Applying a new coat over the old one works best for small cracks or minor repairs. If your plaster is in poor shape, consider having your pro remove the old plaster before installing new plaster.

Plaster can crack over time due to structural settling or minor shifts within the wall. When cracks appear, they must be addressed immediately to maintain the integrity of the wall. A skilled plaster repair professional should evaluate the crack, perform the necessary repairs, and inspect for any underlying issues such as foundation movement or damaged lath. This proactive repair not only preserves your wall’s appearance but also prevents larger future problems.

Plaster drying and curing are critical aspects of any project. Plaster dries to the touch within one to four hours after application, but full curing takes several days up to two weeks. Complete curing ensures the plaster hardens completely, safeguarding against future damage and guaranteeing a flawless finish before painting or adding texture. Extra layers or a thicker application extend the overall curing period, so careful planning around your project timeline is essential.

Painting over plaster is definitely possible when proper preparation is followed. The plaster must be entirely cured, and any cracks or imperfections must be repaired immediately before painting. A high-quality primer is required to ensure excellent paint adhesion, and applying a durable latex paint with a satin finish guarantees a resilient and smooth surface. These steps maintain the wall’s beauty and longevity.
