"Brian showed up on time and immediately began prepping the area with plastic and tape. He was pleasant and polite as well as dedicated to the task since he barely spoke while getting everything ready. Once the area had been properly protected he exchanged pleasantries and got to work. Here is where it gets interesting. My house was built in 1985. The crew who finished the drywall did so with a very thick and deep swirl; it is really beautiful. My wife and I had pretty much resigned ourselves to the fact that nobody would ever be able to recreate them. Well..... I was pleasantly surprised, blown away is more like it. The work was that of an artisan. the swirls are rich and deep and really do fit in with the rest of the walls. Thank you Brian, you are a professional and a craftsman at finishing plaster. I will recommend Castle Drywall and Plaster happily and readily. I hope they send Brian. Good manners, polite, unassuming and most importantly... a craftsman. Great work and thank you very much. "This was a very involved plaster repair and remediation job, in a very old house. Grady is the only person (or company) who was willing to take on the job and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to our home in Northern Virginia. There are very few people who do this kind of work anymore (we really searched) and he is an expert in his field. We needed to work around his schedule, because he is in demand in the tri-state area, so it took awhile to schedule the work to begin... but it was worth it."

"I certanily would have but did not hire Mills Plastering after Mike and I discussed this project at length. He provided a very favorable estimate of the drywall installation and also took the time to explaing what additional work would be necessary for me to reinstall all the room trim (I had told him I would remove and reinstall). He told me to think about it before committing to the project. After I trial fit some door trim I realized it was more work than I was willing to take on so we just painted the paneling. Another contractor might have just taken my money. Highly recommeded."

"The work was awesome. We had the old fiberglass tub and surround from the 80's. Wolak came in and replaced it with a new deep soak tub and tile surround. New tile on the floor. Replaced the vanity and toilet. Even the exhaust fan. They also replaced sheetrock and painted to give us a new modern bathroom look. Wolak didn't need to rely on any sub-contractors. Like a one-stop-shop for remodelling. The installer was very friendly and professional. He listened carefully to what we had in mind, made some great suggestions and now we have a dream bathroom. "After 3 other estimates for above mentioned work for painting, mirror removal, and crown installation Steve came in with a very reasonable work estimate and work timeline. He worked  with me on my schedule and accommodated extra work I asked for.

"I initially contacted Tommy through the Angie's List website, and he called me promptly to set up an appointment to visit my home and review the work I wanted done. He then followed up with an email giving me a quote for the work. Since I felt the quoted price was reasonable and he had such good reviews, we scheduled the work for the next week. I became ill later that week, and Tommy worked with me to reschedule. On the first work day, Tommy and his assistant, Lou, arrived as scheduled at 9:00 a.m. and immediately began covering furniture with clean plastic, tenting kitchen cabinets, covering floors with drop cloths, and taping woodwork. Smaller items, such as dining room chairs, were even moved into the garage. Although I offered them lunch, both said that they preferred to work straight through the day. Since I still was not feeling well, I ended up going into a bedroom to lie down and ended up falling asleep. When I awoke at 5:30, they had left, but not before removing all plastic and drop cloths, replacing the furniture, and sweeping the floor. The second day went much as the first, except that I changed my mind about the color for one of the rooms, and Tommy made a special trip to the paint store to get the new paint. The bedroom, bathroom, and den were completed that day, the plaster in the garage was repaired, and Tommy installed the under-cabinet lighting (not normally one of their services but done as a special favor since I had no one else to do it). My house was left in perfect order when they finished, and they even borrowed my vacuum to make sure that the floors were left clean. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Always Painting by Tommy. Not only is the quality of their work outstanding, but I felt that their prices were fair. They were prompt and reliable and provided good follow through when minor issues arose. Both Tommy and Lou are gentlemen who conduct themselves professionally, take obvious pride in their work, and go out of their way to try to please the customer. I have already had them back for another smaller painting job and would not hesitate to recommend them to others who might need their services. In fact, a family member who is renovating a house will be calling them for a quotation when they are ready to paint this spring.

"Mr. Mike himself saved us. We paid and had an installation scheduled after purchasing a new Range Hood from Home Depot but was surprised that on the day of the install, no one showed up! We waited for a Home Depot Contractor to arrive all day.... finally after several hours of waiting contacted their service office to find that resolution wouldn't happen for several days and we had a planned graduation party the following day. Thought of Mike and contacted him... he came over right away and installed the hood range. His price was extremely reasonable. Home Depot's installation price was $150 and Mike's price was $60. So as I initially started out by saying, Mike saved the day! Our family would like to do business again! Thanks, Mike!"
