He sold me on a primary and backup pump system with battery backup and sent his crew out to my home that day. The installation took about 40 min and 20 min after the pump was installed, the water levels dropped back to normal. I have already hired Arid again to come back and perform a liner install around the pump and will look to Pat and his team in the future for all my basement waterproofing needs."

"I received four estimates for my waterproofing project. Ultimately, I chose American A-1 Waterproofing due to the personalized and positive experience I had with Lou Manzo (Manager), Maurice (Foreman) and Crew Members. From the start, Lou was generally concerned with meeting my waterproofing needs. He actively listened to my concerns and provided satisfying solutions to achieve a dry basement without leading me down an unnecessary and confusing purchasing path. Moreover, Lou returned with a crew member the day after the job was completed to reconnect my utility sink, washer and dryer and move them back into place free of charge. I am very pleased with the exceptional service provided by Lou, Maurice, and all Crew Members at American A-1 Waterproofing. From start to finish, they were professional, courteous, and GENUINE. The team exceeded my expectations! Moreover, pricing for my waterproofing project was extremely fair."

"When Mr. DeBenedetto and his crew arrived, I showed him the corner of the garage that I had forgotten to show him on his first visit, where there was some sort of a drainage issue that had evolved over time. He was able to give me an adjusted price on the spot to replace the apron of the garage, re-angled to an existing drain. When the crew broke through the old apron of the garage, they found that water from the broken drain had eroded quite a bit of the earth and timber supporting the corner. Mr. DeBenedetto prescribed filling the void with concrete, and was able to adjust his price a third time to include the new materials. When all was said and done (over 2 days), Mr. DeBenedetto and his crew completed two major jobs, one completely unanticipated (not in the original price) in a quite reasonable amount of time for a very fair price. The workmanship of the masonry and drainage work is excellent. The crew was pleasant and obvioulsy quite skilled. Overall an excellent outcome to major work. I would recommend Mr. Debenedetto withot hesitation."

So, I reviewed contractors and ultimately decided to hire AJT Complete Construction in Lodi. Taner (initial contact & owner) explained what had to be done, when they could do the job and how long it would take. The price was reasonable, yet competitive. His crews were excellent. They arrived on time; started work immediately, worked diligently, answered any questions and cleaned the work area before leaving. And the finished gutters, downspouts and skylight look great. IMO - if you have to replace gutters and/or a skylight please ask AJT to look at your project."

"Summer 2015: My underground water line burst and was dripping water into my neighbor's basement. The local water company (SUEZ) threatened to turn off water to my 2 family home unless I got the line fixed asap. I found ClearFlow on HomeAdvisors.com. I emailed them late evening and Mr Rolando replied immediately(via cell and text) He came over the next day to inspect and evaluate. Mr. Rolando (project manager) outlined everything that had to be done and what He was going to do: obtaining city certificates, hired policeman, step up street signs to close street. sub-contracted sidewalk concrete guys, street paving guys, excavation guys, plumbing guys. We agreed on a date and I did not have to do anything else but be home. All the trucks arrived EXACTLY at 8AM. They started work non-stop except for lunch and finished everything the same day and cleaned up all debris in front of my house by 4PM The SUEZ water company showed up to turn my water off a few days later thinking the work had not started, Mr. Rolando and I happened to be in front of my house when he showed up to prove it to him it was already completed. I contacted ClearFlow a few weeks later to replace all the turn-wheel water valves in my house with lever types so I can turn off only what I wanted versus turning off water to the whole house. Again, Mr R kept me informed even though he was on vacation by e-mail and text , I was given a quote, we agreed on a price and they came and replaced (welding and solder work) in about 2 hours in the evening. Clear-Flow tested everything before they left in both jobs. They are expensive but you get what you pay for and the work is professionally done. You don't have to do anything but agree on a price , get out of the way and let them do their job. Worry-Free."
