"I had contacted Modern Paving to get an estimate on an asphalt driveway to replace my gravel driveway. Sam answered and made arrangements to come and give me the estimate. He was punctual when arrived on the agreed day. He measured the driveway and we discussed the job and agreed on the price. He indicated that if the weather held the job would be completed within the next two weeks. There was an unexpected cancellation and to my surprise I was able to fit into that empty slot. Sam abs his crew showed up and began working immediately. Measurements were taken, the area was marked off and Sam involved me in that process to make sure it was where I wanted. The driveway was graded and raked. When the asphalt arrived the crew worked quickly to spread and compact it. The crew graded a difficult area to help prevent water collecting. The job was completed by mid afternoon and looks absolutely amazing! So happy with the results. Highly recommended"

"What a great experience and final product. Eddie and Simon were relentless in finding the perfect stones for the new retaining wall and front steps. Installation was done beautifully and with a masterful eye. They also installed the new railing on the steps, which came out beautifully, too. All of our neighbors have dropped by and commented on how incredible everything looks (and how jealous they are). I can't say enough about their professionalism, craftsmanship, and drive to please their clients. Plus, they're really nice guys!"

"This is our third project with D&D and I expect they'll be our default for all future landscaping projects. Paul Doherty personally specs out each job and manages the project. The workers are professional, attentive to detail and unceasingly polite and friendly. Our most recent job hit a snag when the fencing that D&D had included in the estimate was unavailable because of damage from late-winter snowstorms. No problem: the workers built a fence for us instead. The change in plans probably added two days to the planned schedule, but there were no complaints, no griping about additional cost and no changes to the final price. Having dealt with many contractors over the years, I've come to appreciate how rare it is when they show up on time, complete the job to spec and charge what they say they will charge. D&D Mulch hits on every critical point. I highly recommend them."

"This is an update to previous review. The work done, including removal of several bushes, and tearing up front yard and replacing with sod, was done efficiently. The seeding on the side yard didn't catch on quickly, but that was Mother Nature's fault. The sod installed in front yard never caught at one edge and along edging on street/curbside. After installation, it was faithfully watered and we had tons of rain. I just kept hoping. A different company maintains my yard as it is small and I felt Grass is Mine was better for the larger jobs. They had told me that if sod was watered faithfully and an edge or so needed replacing, they would do so. I have texted them to let them know of the problem and asked them to surprise me and come and replace the sod. They never got back to me to fix this issue. For my budget, it was a costly project and I believe Your Grass is Mine will respond and fix the issue."
