"I have used John and John three times now and have been very pleased with every aspect of each visit. They were on time, were friendly, courteous and knowledgeable, and worked very hard to fix the problems. In addition, they cleaned up after the work. I appreciated how they answered questions I had. I also appreciate their not spending any time telling me how horrible our plumbing is and trying to sell us things!
It's hard for me to rate any plumbing charge "excellent" - so I gave them a "good." However, I think their prices are quite reasonable in comparison to others.
I will definitely call on them again for any future plumbing problems."

"Went well. Efficient delivery of supplies, courteous workers, responsive supervisors and office help was always on top of things. Good cleanup. Quality work completed and went beyond to fix a problem ice dam area."

".The first conversation with John, the project manager, he told me the three things I needed to do as the homeowner. He asked my insurance company and gave me the 800 number to State Farm to file a claim. I got the name of the adjuster I would be working with. When I got the appointment to have adjuster come to my home, John met us at my home to be there to help me with the process. The very experienced adjuster was very impressed with John, the company and wrote me a check that night to get the work going. John kept me informed of everything. The delivery of supplies etc. It rained for 2 weeks after the supplies were delivered so the roof had to wait, but John called to let me know what to expect. One Saturday early in the morning a few days after the supplies were dropped off John came by because he had gone over the supplies sent and found that they (the supply company) had sent the wrong skylights. He brought over the correct ones and took back the incorrect ones. He also brought some tarp to cover some of the supplies. When the sun came out 10 days later he called to let me know the workers were going to be there on Monday. They were here and completed the job by Tuesday afternoon. John had told me it would take 2 days so when I came home after work on the first day I wasn't upset that they were not done. Two of my neighbors came to my houst to let me know how clean, professional and hardworking the people were. They landscape was protected during the roofing. The entire yard was cleaned up and a magnet roller was used to make sure every nail was picked up. John also came to my home during the project and after to make sure I was satisfied!
John helped me pick out the roof color and the gutters. It may not seem like a big deal but it is when you are trying to blend new with what is already there. I guess I could go on and on but I hope I have pointed out the quality of the company Universal Builders of America.
"

"If you want to hire an experienced contractor that understands time allowance, costs, and the right way to do things, hire Jack. He finished my kitchen renovation that another contractor left unfinished a year ago. I called Jack to paint, trim down, and install my closet door, properly finish my engineered flooring, including 5 thresholds the original contractor left undone, build and paint all my trim work, including custom made base, window, and door trim to match the rest of my house. Jack finished painting what was left unpainted, filled in nail holes, sanded and painted throughout my kitchen. He installed 2 built-in shelves, 3 door locks, hung 2 heavy mirrors and a coat rack for me. He even stacked 3 cabinets on my back kitchen wall for me to give me more storage. My kitchen is finally completed to my satisfaction, thanks to Jack. I am very happy.
Jack is a likable guy. If you are honest with him, he will be honest with you. He is a professional at what he does and it shows. My job took a couple of days longer than estimated, but Jack stayed true to his original cost.

"

"Ours was not an easy project. We found our dream home -a 100 year old American Four Square with a red clay tile roof in the Historic district of Newport, KY. As we are in a designated historic district, there are certain guidelines that must be adhered to.

After interviewing 5 roofers, we found Cornett to be (1) the best price, (2) experts with significant experience with red clay tile, (3) the only roofer that we interviewed to be able to replicate the historic detail on our gutters AND (4) have the ability to replace the metal roof on our kitchen addition. Not only that, they worked closely with our GC and developed a metal roofing solution for the flooring on our newly designed rooftop deck. From Keith's detailed outline of the scope of work - we used his outline for our KY Heritage Council tax credit application - to Chan's (the owner's) personal attention and appearance on our job, we KNOW we could not have found a better company for this job. The roof and gutter repair was such a large component to the success of this renovation. We could not have done it without Cornett. Thank you Chan, Keith, Todd, Ruben, Amanda and all at Cornett who helped us.

"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Seelyville, IN

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
