"JR gave me a price for removing the one tree. When I asked whether he would be willing to trim other trees, he readily agreed but suggested an hourly rate. I pointed out limbs I wanted trimmed and JR removed them as requested. He did a great job and was very accommodating. He remained aware of the hourly rate and worked quickly and efficiently, even commenting to his helper at one point, "Let's move it. She's paying us by the hour". Everything was cleaned up before he left. . I would happily have him do more work for me. <br />"

"The car port is so beautiful that people think, nobody has any idea it was added on.  Because they, we had a new roof put on about a year before they where able to get the same roofing and so it looks like it's always been there. I mean, there is no better complement than that. It does not look added on. We've had people who have come and we've had visitors who say your house is complete now. They're work was just wonderful. The only thing I could say, I don't know if I will be able to make you understand without being able to see it but  how would I put this? We wish that we had been a little bit clearer in what we specified because we thought we were getting, having the car port go all the way to the end, to cover the fence and they stopped it about 5 feet before that. And so, We wanted to be able to come from the house to get under the car port to either one of our cars, it's a double car port and you can only, the only covered area was about a 4 foot square area. When they where working on it I was watching and I went out there and I said, "Wait a minute, isn't this supposed to come all the way out to cover this end of the car port?" They said, "No that not the original plan" and I said "yes it was".  When I was discussing that with them they said, "Oh to do that at this point you would have to pay an extra $4,000.00". We said, No, no where not doing that cause we thought we had made it clear to you.". The problem was there were no drawings, no diagram it was just kind of a word of mouth thing, like this is what we want and they understood it you know. And so, my recommendation in the future and with any other work I have done is I want to see a diagram, I want them to repeat to me exactly what they think I want, if that makes any sense. We told them that this was the only thing that kind of left a bad taste in our mouth because the work they did is just beautiful. And, you know, but there's always that one little thing that your unhappy about. I didn't want to pay the extra money because I felt like we had paid enough, you know. We got about 3 estimates and they were probably in the mid point, I know construction is expensive. That was a lot of money to us. They were good. They just didn't communicate on that one aspect. I would have a hard time calling them again. It seems kind of contradictory because the work they did was beautiful but we just weren't happy, you know, 100% happy with them not adding that extra. It would have been a 20 x 5 foot section and that would have been the part of the carport they didn't add. We really enjoyed working with them except for that 1 thing. And we told them when they came out at the end, we said, "We really love the work but every time we look at this end of the carport we're not happy because we were sure we had communicated that to you.". You know we're all standing out in the yard looking at the house and saying this is what we want and I'm thinking they knew exactly what I want and what I was saying and they didn't. I hate that, I hate that we had to have that one little black mark, you know."

"We recently bought a house and have hired a few companies to work on different projects. What we learned from the process is good handyman is hard to come by. That is why we feel very fortunate to find Complete Home Repair. Al and his sons are truly excellent. They worked on our house for 6 days on various things. They were always on time, polite, and thoughtful. We felt comfortable to leave them in the house, but we met every morning to discuss the work on previous day. They did a fabulous job. On the top of that, for whatever concern we had, they also went the extra mile to address it.  <br /> I want to share a small detail that I think shows Al's true color. One of the projects is Al installing a screen door for us. We agreed that if it takes more than 1 hour, he will charge more. On the next day, when I asked him how long it took him to finish the installation, Al told me exactly one hour. He could have told me longer and charged me more, but he didn't.  <br /> This is the second time we hired Al. We are sure that it will not be the last time. He not only earns our business, but also wins our heart. Highly recommended!! <br />"

"This is the third time that my husband and I have hired Estes Painting Company. We were exceptionally pleased with the job they did and would highly recommend Estes Painting to anyone who needs interior or exterior painting done. Mike Estes gave us a detailed estimate for the proposed job, and the cost at the end was exactly as quoted, except that my husband and I added the pressure washing and sealing of the deck after the initial contract was signed. Joe Johnston, the project manager came by each morning and each afternoon to check on the progress of the work. He was exceptionally patient with us as we made decisions about the colors to be used. Initially, the company sent out two men to pressure wash the house and deck. The following day, two carpenters came out, replaced boards on the garage door facing and on one end of the house, as well as replacing a few rotten boards around a few of the window frames. They actually identified a few problems that we did not realize we had. Over the course of the next several days, two exterior painters came at 8:15, worked all day with just a brief break for lunch, and worked until at least 4:30 each day. They covered the windows with plastic and they spray painted 2 coats of paint over the exterior of the house and the garage doors. Because the house exterior is 36 years old and has not been painted in over 20 years, the wood soaked up the paint. In order to get good coverage, the painters used rollers and hand painted the exterior with an additional coat of paint. Then, they hand painted the trim, soffits, chimney, and exterior doors. Finally, they sealed the deck. At every step of the process, the workers were punctual, efficient, and they used their time wisely. Joe listened to our questions, gave us his input in a constructive manner, and did everything that he could to ensure that we were happy with the result. Whenever we need painting services, we will call Mike Estes."
