He checked everything and was puzzled as to what the problem might be. I mentioned checking in the attic as a possible source of the odor. James went up and through the trusses to the area over the house bathroom. He came back and asked me for a trash bag and showed me a picture he had taken of a dead squirrel. He went back and collected the remains and gave them to me in the bag. The dead critter stunk to high heaven through the bag. He said it would take some time for the stink to dissipate. They had previously replaced our old water heater last summer, then in May we discovered a manufacturer defect that required the new water heater to need replaced. Complete Comfort performed the work at no cost since we were still within the warranty period. Fast forward to last week and the water heater was out again! The same day of the issue they had someone out and discovered a backup at the main sewer line was actually causing a substantial water leak that put out the pilot light in the new water heater. The very next morning they were out and cleared the line outside of the house and we were back to being completely functional. There aren't many more frustrating home repair issues than being out of hot water and Complete Comfort has now fixed that issue for us 3 times in the past year within 24 hours of each incident!
