"This was the second time I used them and was very satisfied with the work and the cost. The skylight has some paint residue on the window which I was not too pleased with. "Our brick ranch house was in need of TLC on the old fiber board siding, which my wife and I have painted four times ourselves. We wanted to make the exterior maintenance free with a good quality vinyl siding. We contacted five separate companies, four of which were listed in Angie’s list, to get estimates. We chose The Home Improvement Co. They were neither the highest nor the lowest estimate. We based our decision on the reviews in Angie’s list, pictures of the work that had been accomplished on other jobs, and Matt’s straight forward honest presentation. Matt convinced us that one of the most important details of this work is an experienced crew that knows how to work with the material. We had chosen the insulated backed vinyl siding. The crew (Kevin and Rueben) and Matt arrived Friday and started the demolition on the west side of the house. We were having all the old siding removed and replaced with new board, moisture barrier, and the vinyl siding. They completed that side including cleanup in one day. The whole job was completed by the following Friday. The crew was great. They were friendly and professional, and they worked well together as a team. They answered any question we had and honored any request we made. They also wrapped all the windows and doors with aluminum coil. They transformed the exterior of our home. We are completely satisfied. We comment to each other every time we pull into the driveway how good our home looks now. We still plan on replacement windows and a new back door. "Gary impressed me very much; he let me know how he was going to treat my home before trying to sell me windows. The windows were not only what we needed, but he also explained that the installers are also important. Gary has two men who are superb installers, Mike and Brian. The installers were doing a great job and if there was a problem, I did not hear about it because they were very professional. The windows went in, caulked, and neatly finished. We bought energy efficient, triple pane windows. Our new front door looks fantastic. A month later, we called Gary and had the last two doors replaced, garage and back entry door. We wanted everything as energy efficient as the other products in our home. They have matched the vinyl around the windows and it looks better than before. People on the street do not even know we had installed new windows; they look great! We never have to paint anymore outside. Everyone loves our new front door.
