I finally decided to get it inspected after learning that faulty wiring could pose a fire risk. Fred was quick to respond, professional, and very thorough. While the final cost was slightly higher than the original estimate, it was still very reasonable given the amount of work completed. Now, most of my outlets and lights are working properly, and the electrical system feels much safer and more reliable. Fred also went above and beyond by checking my AC, calling an HVAC technician on my behalf, and helping schedule a follow-up. He works on a trust-based system and assured me that if anything needs rechecking in the next few months, he’ll return. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the work and highly recommend his services to anyone looking for reliable electrical repairs. "

"BK Electric replaced our main electrical panel at our house in October of 2021. They came out on time and completed the work on schedule at a fair price. They even came back and installed a Tesla charger for us a week later. If this was the end of the story, I would have given them 5 stars. A few months ago, over 1.5 years since the work was "completed", we had an LADWP inspector show up to our house saying he was there to inspect the electrical panel since the permit was never finalized, which we had no idea about as we hadn't heard anything from BK and they were paid in full. The inspector issued some corrections, so BK Electric came back out and addressed those corrections and called for reinspection. The inspector came out one morning and BK Electric did not show up to meet with the inspector, so my wife had to do the best she could to answer any questions. The inspector issued additional corrections, which went to BK Electric. That was 2 months ago and I've tried calling and emailing BK Electric multiple times to see when the corrections would be completed and still don't have any clue when or if these corrections will be addressed. I can't believe it's been nearly two years since this work was done and it is still not finalized yet they had no problem cashing the checks we wrote them. I don't know if they just don't want to do the corrections or what the issue is, but at this point I am basically being ghosted by this company. It has been a frustrating experience to say the least and I certainly cannot recommend anyone use them."

They also ran the wiring underground to my home and created a sub-panel for power. They also installed numerous outlets for lights, including a 220v for power tools & replaced a fan motor from an existing attic fan. They did a wonderful job. They made some recommendations that I didn't even think of. They pulled permits, met with city inspectors, and worked side-by-side with linemen from Southern California Edison, without any issues. Where I believe this company really shines is in their professionalism. They return calls, they show up on time, are respectful and reasonably priced.
