"The floor was changed from wooden slats to a ceramic tile that the contractor recommended.  The screen windows were changed out to full view custom casement windows and two new full-view doors.  A room-specific heating and air conditioning unit was also added.  The whole room was painted inside and out.

"I had a great experience with Dry Basement. The estimator Curtis was extremely knowledgeable, clean cut, friendly, and straight forward. He arrived right on time and got to work. He reviewed my situation with laser measuring equipment and had a written estimate for me on the spot. We agreed on a price for the work and scheduled my repair for their next available slot, three weeks later, on December 11, 2014. I received a call from their office staff two days before the scheduled work, to remind me of my appointment and their estimated arrival time. The crew of four guys showed up right on time and got straight to work. The foreman, Alvin, was great and worked just as hard as every other guy on the crew, and these were about the hardest working guys I've ever seen in my life. Everyone was super friendly (my Labrador retriever vetted each of them and approved). It was a wet, sloppy day outside, and they put plastic down on my carpeted floors and stairs to keep things tidy. They installed 10 u-channel braces in the basement to shore up my slightly bowing foundation (just under 2" of inward bowing), and secured it to 8 yards of concrete - that's 32,000 pounds worth - in the yard. The cracks inside were sealed with polyurethane. They finished the job in one day, as promised, and cleaned everything up when they were done. In fact my basement was cleaner when they left than when they showed up. I would definitely hire these guys again, though I don't plan on having to, since from the looks of things this house isn't going anywhere. HIGHLY recommended."

We thought it would be a simple fix and take him only 2 days but as he got to work, he realized he could not safely install them the way that we had hoped. He went back to the drawing board and came up with another solution that was more work for him, but much more secure. He did a wonderful job matching the new railing to the banister upstairs and we were blown away with the results! We were so happy with his honesty and dedication to our first job that we hired him once again to replace the flooring in our basement.
