"The pricing from Krause Construction was higher than competitors but I felt confident they were the best company to complete the jobs to my satisfaction and with a high quality of craftsmanship. I had two projects completed by Krause Construction - (1) redesigning rain runoff pipes and (2) covering patio posts and covering step facing with weather resistant material. Both jobs were done professionally with a very satisfying outcome. Troy and his staff did a fantastic job on the rain runoff pipe project. He explained every step of the job and was onsite the entire time while the job was being done. I had complete in his team to complete the project with a much more efficient design than what I initially had. 
The second job (covering patio posts and stair facing) was also completed to my satisfaction. I was not on the property to consult with the workers on how the work would be accomplished but was satisfied with the outcome. There were a couple areas that I asked the workers to redo and they responded quickly to my requests. I also asked that the worker return to the property to answer a couple questions pertaining to how they completed the job and he took the time to come by the same morning (on a weekend) to explain why he completed the project the way he did. He was very professional and provided a very concise explanation to my questions.
I have asked Troy to provide another estimate for landscaping work. Office and labor staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful during the course of both projects. They were very prompt in returning my calls and answering my questions.Both projects were completed with minimal disruption of property and they always left the job site picked up each night until the job was completed.

He also painted the entire frame and replaced some additional wood that we damaged at top of frame and caulked it all. Also had a basement door frame sanded and repainted. "My experience with Nova Exteriors was great. I needed new storm doors installed on two sets of French doors leading to a patio. Each set of doors has a total width of 48", so a custom solution was needed. Nova works with Provia, which manufactured the doors. The job was intricate and the Nova team needed a fair bit of creativity to make the new doors work on my 1976 row house. Near the end of the 9-hour install, they made a couple of small measurement errors and cut a couple of pieces of trim a bit short. They made it work as best as possible at the time, and then worked with me to replace the short pieces as soon as they could get new ones from Provia. The last step happened yesterday, and their guy showed up in a mask and gloves and was careful and respectful of social distancing and wiped surfaces down before he left. I am very happy with the service I received, the quality of the work, and the doors themselves. I would not hesitate to use Nova again or recommend them. I used them because of their relationship with Provia and the good reviews on Angie's List, so thanks to previous reviewers."

"I contracted Peak to replace the old roof on my house. On the original install date, they canceled for the day and did not notify us the day prior as agreed. In the end the roof was satisfactorily installed, however, a 1-2 day job took 2 weeks due to a section of the roof not being installed per contract. When reaching out to Peak, they confirmed that it was supposed to be done and had another crew sent out to install it. Once that was done, they left a 1” gap between the new roof and the siding, as the old flashing on the old roof was removed and not replaced. They quickly sent someone out to replace it. In short, they did do a great job on installing the new roof, however a series of missteps and limited communication extended the project far longer than necessary. Would I recommend? Sure. They did do good work on the new roof. I would also include the issues I had with communication and to inspect the roof after completion to ensure it was done to contract."
