"About a year earlier than our project, several of the homeowners in our community with stucco homes had their chimney rebuilt and the stucco replaced as a result of mold, rotting wood, and other water infiltration problems. Seeing what our neighbors were doing and knowing about the problems with stucco in PA, we hired a stucco inspector who identified several areas around our house where the stucco needed to be remediated, including the chimney. JJ&E Construction agreed to remove the stucco and repair the areas identified by the inspector with the understanding that if addition underlying problems were found, they would be required to address them. Once the work started, it quickly became apparent that the original stucco was not installed correctly. JJ&E also found that the foundation on the back wall of our walk-out basement was not installed correctly and agreed to repair that. JJ&E removed all the original stucco, replaced any damaged or rotted wood, replaced any damaged insulation, and installed new exterior plywood, Tyvek® wrap, additional weatherproofing layers, aluminum wrap trim around the doors and windows, and stucco that meets all current codes. The craftsmanship of all the work was excellent."

We were able to pick out finishes in Denver and he would pick them up, saving on the delivery charges. He and his crew were trust worthy, friendly, clean and easy to get along with. Their attention to detail was noteworthy, the electrification turned all of the screw heads facing virtually. There were some challenges with the unit because of itâ s age. He worked with us and provided options for us to choose from. He gave us an estimate on the timing to finish and he finished on time. We would definitely hire him again and recommend him to friends. He was very concerned that we were happy with the finished product."
